4 items to choose from, fish, shrimp, ribs and chicken. We split the fish is was GREAT!! It was enough for two. Rice and peas had a little citrus flavor which was nice. Vegetables were local and good. We got ours to go, so we just placed the order and waited.

We sailed on Carnival Freedom and visited. The food was absolutely amazing! The fresh fish of the day was mahi mahi. It was seasoned and cooked perfectly. The several sides were delicious too. Fried plantains and coconut slaw were my favs. Located on a great beach is the icing on the cake! Beat every meal we had on the cruise... More

We were fortunate enough to get to the beach early enough to get 2 lounge chairs, I recommend doing the same as the beach fills up fast. The beach is gorgeous with views overlooking Nevis. The food and service at the Lion Rock was great, fresh fish, local vegetables and spices! I highly recommend eating there!

Great food - with fresh veg. Good local hang out, great lion rum punches! Worth the trip. Right next to the beach - awesome.

COLDEST BEER IN TOWN!!!! Spent the day on the beach catching rays and drinking cold beer. Blue water, clear sky's and cold beer. I did not eat lunch but it looked great. We rented two chairs and shade for 10.00. a All worth it.

My #CondoSeniors enjoyed Caribbean Caribbean Jerk lunch at Lion's Rock in #StKitts while on Celebrity Cruise. Ribs were $17US and Fish was $20US and spiced rum was $5US. Lot of food, great service, massage on the beach and great views of Nevis. I had the jerk ribs - Delicious!

Went by on Sunday - found out they only do lunch - I heard this was 1-4. Got there by 3:30 on Monday, they had stopped serving for lunch. Turns out they start around 12:30 or 1:00 and go until there are no more customers. Was successful on Tuesday. Super friendly and attentive staff. Prices are typical for this type... More

Lion Rock is a little shack setting just each of the Spice Mill. They have lounge chairs to rent if you want to spend the day at the beach soaking up the rays and looking at Nevis. The beach is wide, sandy and perfectly clear. The food offerings are typical for the local shacks (chicken, ribs, fish...) but the blending... More

All the good stuff about Cockleshell is true, it's a nice beach with an unmissable lunch venue - lions beach bar. It's just a shack really, a bit shabby but that's its charm. The food is great, salads and veg including plantain and rice and peas with chicken or fish or shrimps or ribs. No burgers and chips here, thank... More
