We drove to Cockelshell beach and came across this bar. It is a very authentic old bar with many flags hanging from the roof. The owner came out and served us some beers and told us he was the only bar on this beach until about 6 years ago when many other bars moved in and took some of his... More

I love to visit Lion's. It is a place like no other. Very rustic and traditional. It makes you happy to not be in a commercialized, trendy restaurant. The food made by Lion himself is amazing.

There are many places along Cockleshell Beach but we chose Lion Rock based on Tripadvisor reviews. The taxi ride from the port is about $8 one way if you share with others. These are really beach shacks but they provide good food, drinks and service. We had a wonderful time there, 2 chairs and the man made umbrella were $10.... More

After reading the positive reviews of this shack on Cockleshell Beach, we made a beeline there for lunch after leaving our cruise ship. What a mistake. Yes, the view is beautiful, and you can lie in the sun or shade. You also can sit at picnic tables in the shack. Here's what happened: Of the 4 of us, 2 ordered... More

Wonderful oasis on the beach. Not fancy but worth the trip.the BBQ chicken and ribs were Devine. The plate is filled with potato, veggies, plantain and their signature coconut slaw. The view looking out towards Nevis is worth a million bucks. Prices here are reasonable and the Lion Punch at $4 A glass is a real bargain. Take my word for... More

We got to St Kitts and took a taxi to Reggae Beach, there is Lion Rock Beach bar & grill, we rented some beach chairs in front of the place and ate some ribs with the most unique and delicious sides. When I saw the owner and chef "Lion" and told him how much we enjoyed the food and the... More

Lions is my favorite limin' spot whenever I'm in st kitts. The lion punch is great and very strong and the food that lion himself provides is very tasty. Perfect setting with the beach right there and Nevis in the background. He always has great reggae playing for that great island vibe!! I can't wait to go back again.

This is our second year back at cockle shell beach, this is the place to go, yes the other restaurants are nice, but for great island food, this is a must. The coconut salad is great, tried to get the recipe, the only thing is was told, it was made with love, just I have to go back and get... More

We stopped at St. Kitts on a cruise and after researching places to go we made it a point to come to this place. We went out of our way to find this place and after some confusion, difficulty and pure luck we wandered along the beach and found it. We were welcome with such a warm greeting and even... More

Best bbq you can get anywhere! And I do not say that lightly! The lions sauce is amazing along with the fish plates. A go-to must for anyone who likes high quality food with an extra casual setting. Lion and his wife are so very sweet, you can taste the happiness in their food, especially their specialty drink "Lion's Punch".... More
