Sprat net is wonderful restaurant located approximately 20 minutes north of Basseterre in Old Road Village. It is right on the water and is open for dinner. The owners are fishermen who go out in the morning and then serve their daily catch in the evening. They serve bbq lobster, ribs, chicken, steamed catch of the day fish, and wonderful pizzas. It is casual with ample seating and a beautiful view of the Caribbean Sea. Prices range from $10US to $30US for dinner. They also have a full bar.

Great lobster and entertainment.

The setting is very casual, the lobster was delicious, and the band was great. Made you want to get up and dance!

We had dinner here a few weeks ago while on the island. We asked our driver for the best place on the island for lobster. Sprat Net did not disappoint. The setting was lovely as the sun was going down. The lobster was so fresh and big we could not believe it. Delicious food, attentive staff. Would definitely recommend

To sum it up... the people who catch the lobster and fish that day - are the ones cooking it for you that night. You don't get fish or lobster any fresher than that!!! Also... so reasonably priced! Five people for dinner with drinks for $105. Talk about reasonable! But it's the entire SPRAT NET experience that you must have... More

We went to this restaurant after a driver recommended it to us, I am so pleased he did because it was lovely! We went on a Friday evening, music started about 7.30pm and was good music, the food however was amazing!! The lobster and ribs were great! Comes with corn on the cob, 1/2 a potato and a roll, just... More

I had the combo platter. Ribs & Lobster. Perhaps the tastiest Caribbean lobster tail I've eaten. Service for us was speedy & efficient though others weren't served as fast. I always believe you take care of the people serving you. Beautiful sunset and fantastic Reggae band. Probably our favorite evening on the island!

The sunset from here is beautiful and the lobster is some of the best I have ever eaten. My friend got lobster/ribs and said it was great. The drinks are good especially the local Ting with a sting. The band played reggae and was wonderful. Just remember that they are on island time which means that if they say the... More

I'm not a fan of lobster and the people I go with don't usually eat it but Spratnet has always been known for 2 things, their ribs and lobster. They've relatively recently added pizza to the mix and a lot of the friends I go with have switched from ribs to pizza now. Go on a Wednesday night but try... More

The jolly buzzing atmosphere instantly put you in the right mood; orders were quickly taken and equally quickly presented; an ample plateful of tasty food including grilled lamb with corn on the cob and salad. The harbour looked enchanting with a large white ship gleaming in the fading light and then gliding away with all its lights glowing. A live... More

My daughter who is going to school in St. Kitts took me here on an off night. Lobster baked potato and beer is the staple. Awesome and reasonable. While there wasn't this night, my daughter told me that they have a band playing too. I'd definitely like to go back on a night they have music.

Several locals suggested we try Sprat Net for an evening meal due to its great seafood. We decided to try it on a Wednesday evening when they had a band playing. We hired a taxi to take our small group of four to the restaurant on the NW side of St. Kitts. First, the real attraction is the stunning view... More
