The owners are fishermen who go out in the morning and then serve their daily catch in the evening. They serve bbq lobster, ribs, chicken, steamed catch of the day fish, and wonderful pizzas. It is casual with ample seating and a beautiful view of the Caribbean Sea. Prices range from $10US to $30US for dinner. They also have a full bar.

This is a place for wonderful lobster amd great local music on Wednesday and Friday nights. Don't expect service at you table as it is a walk and order food and drinks when you want. Staff are wonderful and always helpful you just have to ask.

We asked a local where the best place for a sunset dinner would be and without hesitation he said Sprat Net. Maybe because it was in the village he lived (although we met him down south). Maybe because its true. Unfortunately we didn't get to experience a "great" sunset because it was cloudy. But given the location on the water... More

We like to go to establishments that are geared to locals more than tourists. That being said Sprat Net attracts both which we found positive. Great food and a beautiful view. We all left full and satisfied with our meals. The prices are great. You can't get any fresher than Sprat Net.

Arrived early to enjoy the sunset. Ordered Rum Punch and made our way to a picnic table on the grassy area. The sunset was awesome and it was time for more Rum Punch and dinner. We enjoyed the Kittitian version of grilled fish, lobster, shrimp, ribs and chicken. Corn, baked potato and rolls finished out our plates. If you like... More

My wife lived in St. Kitts for two years, and she always raves about Sprat Net. It definitely does not disappoint. The setting is absolutely beautiful, the drinks are strong, and the food is amazing and fresh. Their lobster is to die for, and they give you three halves in one order. The shrimp is also very good. I have... More

I have been coming to St. Kitts since 2000. Each time I return Sprat Net is a must. For me it is defining institution for what it means to be a Kittitian. If you want to be waited on hand and foot, if you want fine china, if you expect garnishes, fine presentation, and uniformed servers don't even think of... More

This place is pricey for what you get. The food is average and I am being nice. I had the lobster and snapper plate that came with 2 johnnycakes and corn. The only items I enjoyed from my order were the corn and the red snapper (be careful of the bones). These johnnycakes were different. Not your fresh off the... More

tired of special sauce? Get the real deal - simple, fresh, plenty, live music 2 nites a week. Try the rum punch or just a cold beer. Be there before sunset and sit out on the lawn.

We visited Sprat Net while on our recent trip and were so impressed! We were recommended to go here by our cab driver. The food was unbelievable! Fish was fresh, chicken and ribs were delicious, even the pizza was great!! The lobster was amazing-huge portion of lobster served with rolls, corn on the cob and and baked potato. Several people... Sprat Net is a modest establishment hugging the Caribbean coast north of Basseterre. Founded by local fishermen, Sprat Net does not disappoint when it comes to fresh seafood. We got there after 8:00 PM on a Wednesday night and ate a sumptuous lobster dinner to the accompaniment of a local band with great vocalists. The atmosphere is decidedly casual and... More
