Sprat net is wonderful restaurant located approximately 20 minutes north of Basseterre in Old Road Village. It is right on the water and is open for dinner. The owners are fishermen who go out in the morning and then serve their daily catch in the evening. They serve bbq lobster, ribs, chicken, steamed catch of the day fish, and wonderful pizzas. It is casual with ample seating and a beautiful view of the Caribbean Sea. Prices range from $10US to $30US for dinner. They also have a full bar.

We visited Sprat Net on the basis of earlier recommendations but to be completely honest it was a miss for the lobster and hit for the veggie pizza. My husband and I had better lobster in st kitts and nevis; including, jam rock, chinchillas, and reggae beach. Even street lobster in town was better. Also eating lobster with a plastic... More

The best lobsters on the island! I ordered a combo of lobster and shrimp and they were amazing. The plate also comes with baked potato, corn, and fried johnny cakes! The prices where the best, compared to other restaurants on the island.

Had dinner tonight (1/20) while listening to the reggae. Lobster for the wife and ribs for me. All good and happy a new friend brought us. It is a picnic table, uber casual "joint" where all sorts mix. Not a sit down dining place. The smells from the open air kitchen will insist that you have a second order of... More

We visited Sprat Net on the basis of earlier reviews, and to be completely honest felt it was pretty average. $50 round trip taxi from frigate bay did not help, but the ribs and chicken we have had better both in st kitts and nevis. For the prices you pay, proper cutlery would be nice...try eating lobster with a plastic... More

This place has the best lobster, hands down! I went back for more even though I was full. It's been a year since I've been there and I've yet to have lobster that beats that of Sprat Net!

Absolutely brilliant, excellent setting, old charm, lobster ribs were great, kids loved it so much we went twice, buckets of beer, all food and drinks were well priced, we booked as it was very popular, highly recommend, sitting on cliff edge watching the sun set, pure bliss and later on live music👍😀🍻happy days

On walking in one may raise an eyebrow. Picnic benches after I drove all the way out here? But then you realize catch of the day really is fresh fish from the ocean you are looking at. Now the only thing wrong there is that the wait can be long. But while I was waiting I walked around a bit.... More

Seem to find myself here each time I visit the SK. Very leisurely attire, laid back and fun. The band they had playing when last I visited was amazing! Fun for all, good times, great food!
