I think a lot of people fail to realize the staff is hear to welcome you and help you enjoy your stay. Smile and be nice. Treat the staff with kindness and respect. After all, that's how you want to be treated, right?

My Husband and I had a lovely meal at this place. The food was very tasty and plentiful. I had steak which was cook perfectly and my husband had the salmon which he really enjoyed.
Calypso Cafe is a great little place for coffee/ quick breakfast or late night snack/dessert. Good was okay. Really over priced but that's the same with all Marriott food. We had the breakfast sandwiches/ coffee one morning which was good. We also went to have the chocolate truffle for a late nite dessert. Food was okay and service staff were...

the food was so-so....PRICES RIDICULOUS ($25.50 for a bowl of cereal, some pretty crappy orange juice and a pot of coffee). Very unfriendly!!

We only went into the Calypso to pick up coffee and muffin before heading to the golf course. Muffins are big enough that 2 of us shared one. Great coffee too!!
Had to wait over half an hour while we did the italian night. took 2o minutes to get my check and pay
Some of the best burgers/ chicken sandwiches on the island
Big portion of veggies and fries come with it
Everything else in this place (esp out front) is super overpriced but that's how it goes with the monopoly the Marriott has on the island.
The breakfast buffet is definitely worth it if not for the unlimited drinks (most places charge...
