One of the nicest, talented chefs on the island. Great food, interesting stories to go with it. Everything prepared fresh, nothing out of a can!

Stopped in after diving, so we were hungry. Ken, our host and chef, made some recommendations, and all were lovely. His pulled pork is smoked for 14 hours, and his BBQ sauce is fantastic. The blackened fish tacos were very tasty. The burger is 1/2 pound, with a fried egg. Way good. For dessert, we had carrot cake with pistachio... More

I appreciate that keeping good chefs on this sparsely populated island where food supplies require planning must be difficult and it sounds like the current chef will be transitory...but while he's there, the food is spectacular. The range of options was surprising and we six had many of the items offered. The blackened chicken was described by one of us... More

I had heard about Sunset Cove but info was variable about whether it was open. I decided to bicycle over to see for myself. It is at a distance from Blossom Village, and therefore very laid back in atmosphere. I didn't see much activity upon arrival, but a man soon came out to greet me and chat. Dave Bodden, the... More

The food was better than average bar food. But it is definitely a bar first. Service was slow, but that is the island way. We ordered a pizza, it was huge and homemade. We thought they had flown back to GC to get it, but when it finally came it was great. Staff was uninterested, if you were not drinking.... More

We were staying at Sunset Cove so this was very convenient for us, and Chef Raymond was very accommodating and could make meals to order. (My friend is vegetarian.)

Raymond, the chef is a gifted cook. You will be treated to creative, authentic Carribean cooking. His Saturday night Jerk night is a must, the BEST EVER.

Raymond spends hours smoking the meat. The jerk was tender, smokey, juicy, and flavorful. It comes with a side of coleslaw, plantains, and a choice of coconut rice, rice and peas, or fried dumplings.

Chef Raymond cooks great food. Get there on Saturday for Jerk Night! The restaurant just has a few tables and feel free to ask him any questions that you might have.
