Enjoyed Taikun multiple times, in just as many days. LOVED the grated wasabi and tuna tataki. Room service was convenient and the food amazing but it didn't really compare to dining in the restaurant.

By far our favorite place for Sushi in Grand Cayman. It is fresh, simple but unique, and just amazing. The sake list is great too. The manager is a very nice guy and always makes me feel welcome.

I went here with my fiance the night after our engagement. The staff was absolutely excellent from every standpoint. The menu was well explained and the food was fresh - I can definitely recommend the conch appetizer. More important than the food, however, was the service, which was impeccable. Our EXCELLENT server, Chantale, brought us a free custom "congratulations" dessert,... More

Amazing sushi, gorgeous setting and outstanding service. What's not to love. This is a good treat for a birthday or special occasion.

The hallmark of fine sushi restaurants is the freshness of their fare. Ideally, the fish should be less than 24 hours old, with bright, un-dulled flesh, firm texture, and no trace of fishy odor. Curiously, the physical appearance of the establishment can be quite varied, for great sushi eateries run the gamut from dilapidated basement cellars to upscale, glitzy modern... More

We ate here twice. They were two of the best sushi dinners we have had. They had local dishes we had not seen elsewhere. Our favorites were the local conch ceviche, wahoo sashimi, and the Caribbean snapper sashimi. Really great food. Restaurant was a little dark, but they bring lights if needed. Highly recommend. Small place - make a reservation.

probably one of the best sushi and sashimi I ever had, all the fish cuts are executed at the perfection or almost, nice combinations of flavour and color, everything was very well balanced. Good choices of sake and wine. I've been there twice, great service the first night, not the best on the second.

From start to finish the experience at Taikun was tops. The service, the ambiance and the presentation were exactly what one would expect while dining at a Ritz Carlton. I have enjoyed sushi at fantastic establishments around the globe perhaps equal to Taikun but never better!

When the sake menu contains more options than the nigiri menu, you know you're in for a treat. The place is appointed in a flamboyant elegance, and the service is unbeatable. Make your dinner very special, and try Taikun.
