We spent two weeks on the island. Got take out from here twice. Great food, great people. Truly one of our favorite restaurants on the island.

we had fried grouper fish as a starter. It was so good we ordered one more - just melted in our mouth. The garlic naan and other breads were so good - this from a guy who lives in the heart of Indian area in Woodbridge, New jersey. We ordered chicken and shrimp curries (my friends eat shrimp - I... We have been on the island up the East End for nearly three weeks and was looking for something a bit different. I read many of the reviews for Southern Spice both good and bad and decided to give it a try. This is our honest findings and review. On arrival we found there was ample parking outside. When entering... More

Southern Spice is truly a hidden gem! We tried it on a whim and wound up eating there 3 times during our visit to Grand Cayman. We are a very picky "foodie" family, so finding a place that we all love is rare! (Me, my husband, and 2 boys, 15 and 12.). Not the fanciest place (located in a strip... More

The staff is so friendly, warm, and welcoming. They are all so proud to serve their food, and happy to do it!! Their food is amazing. I had the garlic naan, chicken tikka masala, and fried fish. They were all incredibly delicious. I highly recommend it to anyone who likes Indian food!! I wanted to keep trying, and I only... More

This is probably the only place in Cayman that has halal chicken. You must ask before to be certain. The food was nice and ALL the staff are friendly and funny! I would recommend the cheese naan and the mango lassi

Went for a take out and bought two curried chicken meals which were very good, and the portions were about right. For the price of 16 CI Dollars a piece I would like to see a naan bread thrown in though. They ask you how spicy you want it and cook it that way which is nice. It's hard to... More

We had dinner at Southern Spice on our most recent of three trips to Grand Cayman. We found it to be good, but nothing to write home about. The food is typical Indian fare. Curries, tandoori, makhni murgh, naan, etc. The portions are generous but you probably won't have leftovers. The service is very friendly, and the owner takes a... More

The food was fine but it was a lot of sauce and not a lot of meat. Like most food in the Caymans it cost quite a bit. I don't usually mind that if I enjoy the meal but when I don't I'm a little put out. Plus it upset my stomach all night long.

After reading several reviews about restaurants on seven mile my Husband, Son and I decided to come here for dinner our first night on the island and we are so glad we did. The service from start to finish was excellent. The waiter was knowledgeable and so polite we have yet to get anything like that on the island since.... More
