Like Indian food....then this is the place

Spontaneously dropped in to see if they done take out - which they did. We were sat at a casual area while we waited after ordering food. Complementary popadoms were offered and the food was ready quite quick. After getting home and serving it up, the portions are quite generous and we have enough... read more

I ordered the Hummus appetizer. It was creamy and the Naan was warm and fresh!! My son had Chicken Tikka Masala and I had the Lamb Vindaloo. In both dishes, the meat was tender, moist and full of flavor! The sauces (you can order to taste: regular or spicy) were so delicious that I wanted more even though I was... More

We really enjoyed this restaurant. The service is excellent and the food was very good as well. Reasonably priced for Cayman. We were sad that we only discovered this restaurant as we were leaving the island.

This is a great place to have a perfect meal ( I go almost every Tuesday before going to Salsa at the Wharf) with a great balance of filling but not overfull (I need to be able to dance). My friends love that they provide a free drink. I love their spinach dish and the papadum (lentil flour bread=great for... More

This is definately one of the best Indian restaurants I have eaten in, including ones in New York & London! I even loved the popadums and I usually don't like those. Fresh, authentic and reasonably priced for the Cayman Islands. The staff is warm and friendly. Just the best!

I'll say one thing - the man in the kitchen - as directed by the owner - sure knows how to grind fresh spice. I ordered the saag lamb. One could argue about whether the lamb was the highest grade ever or cooked long enough or low enough to be mouth wateringly tender but let me say that there was... More

We used the Dine In option at our vacation condo to order from Southern spice. We are big fans of Indian food. We thought the food was excellent and could easily rival some of the best Indian food we have had both in the US and England. The chicken tikka masala was spicy but not overwhelmingly so and the chicken... More

Our mistake was asking for it mild... really should have asked for medium to impart more flavor. Great portion sizes.

Great authentic Indian food. Large portions (two meals easily). Servers asked how spicy we wanted the food. We like spice and they really delivered. Service is quick and attentive. We came in early for dinner (6pm) and were the only people in the restaurant. By 6:30 there were four other tables there and by 7 significantly more tables were filled.

We have passed this place many times and been put off by the seedy out side appearance-how wrong were we. The inside is light and airy, with tables nicely spaced. Great menu concept, includes a drink with the main course. We had a great Mango Chicken plus Lamb rogon Josh (and it was tasty real Lamb) all served with saffron... More
