We walked down the beach from the Marriott to the Reef Grill the night of the Cayman Jazz Fest - and the singers in the live band at the Reef - while not quite the level of Alicia Keys :-) - were still quite entertaining. We enjoyed several rum drinks and several appetizers -- beef sliders, buffalo wings and pizza... more

Had dinner on Nov 3, 2009 with 2 other couples at the Reef Grill on 7MB. Our dinners were very expensive( $155US per couple) and not anything to write home about.... and pardon me, NO substitutions(even if they were on the menu) except there would be an "extra" charge. This was for mashed potatoes vs. rice?? Our waiter was very... more

This restaurant is a little pricey with entrees ranging from 25-40 Euros (approx $45-$65), however simply the most perfectly prepared seafood and side dishes. The restaurant decor is average, best to try to enjoy the outdoor seating, particularly at dusk. Atmosphere is lovely for couples. Service was fine. Drinks ok. Most important is the food is absolutely scrumptious! more

One of the first places I visited on the island was the Reef Grill, a venue I then returned to a few days later and again on my 2nd vacation to the island. The food is fantastic and the views are simply perfect. Experience a sunset or two at the bar and you may never want to leave! more

Went to the Reef on Tuesday and had delicious grilled lobster and great service, not to mention the gently crashing waves.... Wonderful! more

Stopped by here without a reservation and were promptly seated; we were the only people on the patio seating area when we arrived. Our servers were fantastic, and the food was good but overpriced. I was disappointed in the appetizers (conch fritters, caesar salad) for the price--the fritters had very little taste. Our entrees (scallops and the market special snapper)... more

We are returning home from Grand Cayman Island. We really enjoyed dinner Friday night at the Reef Grill. We stayed for the music and heard a great reggae band. My husband and I had the sea bass in the citrus sauce which was terrific. The signature dish is the grouper with coconut but the server told us that the sea... more

This is our 5th trip to Grand Cayman and have eaten once in the past at this restaurant. On our previous dinner trip, we recalled a great deck and nice music while vaguely remembering the food. When we went back last night, the service was subpar and the food again average. We thought we had booked an outdoor seating on... more

The Reef Grill is right on the beach on Seven Mile with very good food but the impressive part is sitting watching the sunset, on the beautiful beach, in a very relaxing atmosphere. Sit upstairs for a quieter scene, in the restaurant in front for more elegant, or downstairs on the beach for more casual and fun. Great music and... more

Never been disappointed. I eat there often and just love the food and the amazing friendly staff. Great place to make a whole night of. Dine at the Reef Grill under the stars or upstairs with a sunset view, and then make your way down to the beach bar for drinks and dancing all night long! Our favourite place on... more
