They spot to be on Sunday afternoon

It has the beach & it has a pool with a swim up bar. It is a great place to people watch. People wear everything from swim suits to cocktail dresses. Great vibe around the pool. The bartender Lachlan will take great care of you at the pool bar.

We opted for a beach day while visiting Grand Cayman while visiting off of the ship. WOW - this was a brilliant place to spend the day. Spring for the cabanas here for rent (first come, first serve) and you will have your own cabana with table/chairs and lounge chairs. This beach gets crazy crowded and very busy and bustling.... Thank you for your review! We're glad you enjoyed your day with us. We take Beach Cabana bookings on our website, www.royalpalmscayman.com, which will guarantee a cabana for you when you come to visit. If we have any that are still available, we will rent them on a first come/first serve basis. We look forward to seeing you next time... More

This place was near our condo on SMB. I stopped by for lunch 'to-go' on a quiet day. The server was very nice, the food was good (especially the french fries which I usually don't eat) and the prices were reasonable given the location. Went back another day to get a cocktail from the bar...was on a cruise day. Bartenders... More

The owner of our villa recommended we spend a day at Royal Palms. She also recommended we try the burger. We did and we did, great calls both. Relaxing on the beautiful beach next to a lovely beach/pool bar and restaurant ... enjoying the delicious drinks and food ... a wonderful first day on GCM. Highly recommend the experience, including... More

The tab adds up quickly at this place. We each had 2 drinks and appetizers only. Our bill was $ 85. USD each time. It was convenient as it was only 2 doors down from our resort. What I will say is that I'd never stay there. They entertain cruise ships during the week days with beer pails and DJ's.... More

Hi AlbertAnsey, Thanks for the review. We do offer a party around the pool on cruise ship days. It is popular with the young folks. For those that wish to chill you can sit at the beach bar or on the beach where it a more casual atmosphere.. You won't have to worry about being concerned about your room as... More

Did a little research before getting on our RCCL cruise and decided the Royal Palms club was worth the gamble over the others. Our group of 4 grabbed a cab at the port and arrived within 15 mins. The $2 per person entry fee does not include anything, I think the two chairs and umbrella came to $30. The bar... More

As I embarked on my first cruise (Royal Carribean) I quickly learned that although it's fun to see familiar faces while at sea, on shore it's better to get away from the cattle herd. The port is quaint with fun bars, but seeing how we wanted to explore and enjoy 7 mile beach we got on a (packed) bus/taxi to... More

As a resident, I have always viewed Royal Palms as a beach bar, not as a fine dining venue. This all changed when me and a few friends decided to try out their new menu. We were greeted by a very friendly hostess who seated us in a Cabana, these cost no extra which I think is great. We all... More

We are actually still in Grand Cayman and I am writing this review. We have visited the royal palms beach bar a couple times already and having nothing but good things to say.
