Great view and nice, casual atmosphere. Perfect for the beach.

On our last afternoon in Cayman, my husband and I headed up the beach to Calico Jack's. We didn't eat there, so I can't give any opinion on the food. We just had a few beers and enjoyed the fantastic view. I still dream about the color of the water in Cayman. The bar tender was friendly and the... read more

Onboard Carnival Dream during July 2015 and we did not want to pay excursion rates, so we asked around the boat and most employees recommended catching a cab/bus to seven mile beach. After securing transportation our driver suggested Calico Jack's Bar & Grill. Overall we found it a nice place, proud of their drinks and food but nice overall. We... More

Great bar service. The proximity to ocean, sand, and beach you just can't beat. this place is literally two steps from the ocean. The drinks were tasty and food was well seasoned.

We have been here twice; I didn't want to give them a negative review until I gave them another shot, but both experiences were equally unimpressive. This is definitely a bar atmosphere. There are nice picnic tables on the beach and you can't beat the location, but that's about as far as it goes. The food is not very good.... More

This Island Café/Grill/Bar is nestled steps on the beach and steps from the Caribbean blue waters. Great group of guys running this place - vibrant and fun! They grill up fresh Island themed lunches that are tasty and offer free Wifi. If you find yourself on 7 Mile Beach - go here.

Took the kids (Two teens and two pre-teens) to Calico Jack's for a sunset dinner on the beach. They had fun feeding the chickens and playing on the beach after dinner, but the food and service was very average. Very casual.

Menu is in US dollars but they charge Cayman $$. Every $1 is an extra quarter. We had fried shrimp, jerk chicken and red fish all were really good but bill was 55 cayman $$. drink prices not on menu so make sure you ask, 6 drinks cost us another $55.

Calico jacks is a must visit when in grand cayman for some light grub and drinks right on the beach. Have your caybrew with the waves hitting your feet in the surf, and listen to live music or live djs with lots of locals. Really cool down to earth place, we'll be back! Walking distance from the Westin area

The picnic tables for this restaurant are right on the beach and are coveted. We had great service and the food was actually very good. The beach is just ridiculously crowded and so is the area, so it's not relaxing. Also, the menu is not converted into US dollars, so you end up spending a bit more than you expect.... More

The first thing I noticed was how rude the staff was. I felt like I was bothering them every time I ordered a drink. I don't believe one person even smiled at me the entire 4 hours we patronized their business while we were on the beach. The food was cafeteria quality, and I'm not even picky about my food,...
