Dining options: Breakfast/Brunch, Lunch
Description: Modern. Responsible. Delicious. Bread and Chocolate is the first full-service vegan restaurant in the Cayman Islands providing healthy all-day breakfast and lunch alternatives for health-conscious and eco-conscious diners. All breads, desserts, sauces etc. are made in house. Organic and local produce featured where and whenever possible. Located in the centre of the financial district of George Town. Parking is very limited so plan for a short walk from your car if you drive any day other than Saturday (loads of street parking available on weekends). Bus terminal is next door so it is strongly encouraged to take one of the municipal "buses" which are, for the most part, mini-vans with stickers on them - the EE (East End) bus is more of the typical style bus. Taking the bus is greatly encouraged since it's better for the environment, way cheaper than a cab and is a unique experience on it's own. Some pay parking available at the Town Centre Plaza on Albert Panton Street and behind Bayshore Mall. Table service and take out available. Open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and now open Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

I did my research through TA before we left for Grand Cayman, and this one made the list of places to try. It can fill up fast! We were the first to arrive as they opened and took up 3 of their 6 tables (they also have counter space). They do serve lunch at 9 am (Saturday). We ordered the... More

The food was packed with flavour. Many beautful colourful plates here. I can't wait to go back and try more items! Make sure to try a dessert a la mode, with some amazing coconut ice cream.

Wow. This place is fantastic. The food is delicious; the servings are huge, and the owners are so generous. They give us a big chocolate chip cookie free of charge.

Found this a few blocks away from the port. Great stop for lunch or a break. Not too crowded with the tourists. Menu is light but delicious.

In GC for diving with family and friend for 1 week. 3 of us are veg or mostly veg; 1 is a meat and potatoes kind of guy. All of us found the food to be delicious and filling, even the meaty guy. We arrived at lunch time and half of us had a breakfast meal, half had a lunch... More

A lovely little spot tucked in the heart of georgetown. Our food had tons of flavor, texture and a wonderful aroma. The owner and the staff were extremely nice and the price for everything was very reasonable. Im a carnivore thru and thru, but, if this is vegan food then im ready to give up my Bbq.

This nice little surprise is located on the bottom floor of a tiny building next door to the law school, and near the bus depot, just a couple blocks away from the harbor. First thing: A+ on presentation, second thing: the food we had was great and the price was very reasonable. I am not a vegan, but I like... More

This vegetarian restaurant has lots of healthy, good choices. I can't say the "bread and chocolate" was the most healthy choice - however, if you are on vacation live a little (or a little more) and try this lovely plate of french toast, bananas, homemade hazelnut butter, and real maple syrup. I will always regret that I cried "uncle" and... More

I had a takeout from this place. I liked the food, but my wife and daughter thought it was ok. The items in the island bowl were very dry and didn't have any juices. We had ordered the beet burger and island bowl. The cashew paste was at best ok and I would not try again.

My wife demands that every trip to the Twin Cities start with coffee and pastries at Bread and Chocolate. The coffee is very good and the treats are addicting. It has an old store front setting. Try to get a seat by one of the many big windows, buy your favorite paper and people watch.
