Not much has changed in 20+ years

We used to stay at Sunset House 20 years ago and the place has not changed much. My Bar is much larger that it used to be and has lost some of the ambiance it used to have….but you can never go home again. This is one of the best places for a Caybrew, mudslide and a relaxing conversation. We... read more

When you're thinking of a tropical destination, you're thinking of My Bar / Sunset House. This place has it all...the bar is outside housed under a thatched roof with the best staff you could ask for, over looking the crystal blue ocean. It's possible to sit there for hours taking in the calm serenity of the ocean and not realize... More

Food was not good at all, flavorless fish dishes, anemic looking thin calamari with nothing but horseradish cocktail sauce and the service was very slow, drinks were good but even with a Vacation buzz on, the food was simply NOT good at all, and very $$$$ for the quality, you d be better off to just cook your fish at your... Perfect post-dive meals. Healthy fish and chicken burgers. Fresh salads, vegetarian options. We didn't drink, as we are pretty serious divers, and we don't mix the two

You can order dinner at the bar and it is excellent. The Indian food is superb especially the Kathi Kebabs. Sometimes the service is slow. But, at the bar itself, Jose and Julia are great.

One of the best bars on the island. They have a bar specialty that goes down smooth and wanting for more (drinking conservatively speaking). Excellent bar food and excellent staff.

While this has a good location, the food is not good. And, it is expensive. With, very mediocre service. There are much better places to watch the sunset and have a meal. We preferred paradise, just up the coast closer to Georgetown.and, you can get conch fritters anywhere on the island.

One of my local Cayman friends is a regular here and there are plenty of local regulars, which is a good sign. The food is good, especially the Indian food. The setting is great with the ocean surrounding you. It is great for kids as they can run around chasing lizards and there is plenty of food they will like.... More

We just stopped in for a drink. The drink I ordered, a Cayman Sunset, was not the best I have had on the island. The service was quite prompt, but frankly not very friendly or helpful. It is in a beautiful setting.
