Lionfish and a break from the heat

We stopped in for the lionfish at lunch. The place is a cool respite from the afternoon heat. The blackened lionfish was delicious and cost less than we were afraid given the cost of dining in grand cayman.

We have eaten at Guy Harvey on many occasions but this past visit was especially good. We take advantage of their nightly specials. Sunday night is 2 for 1 entrees as long as you order 2 of the same enter. My son and I had surf and turf. It was one of the best meals I have had at Guy... More

Spectacular service and food. The bar is stocked with some really rare and fine bourbons, scotches and rums. Also have a really impressive wine list!

The best atmosphere. All the servers are nice. The most delicious strawberry daiquiri. All items are tasty, and salads are fresh. Enjoy all this with a beautiful view of the Harbour Downtown. Some of the most breathtaking sunsets can be seen from the outside covered balcony dining area. Great for weekend lunch. Enjoy :)x

This review is for the Sunday Buffet Brunch. Everything on the island is hideously expensive. So for $25CI, it's a good deal even the food selection is nothing like the excess at Westin or Ritz. The food selection is mostly local with some French flair. The red snapper is outstanding. Outside sitting has a great view of the cruise port.... More

Guy Harvey's has a well deserved reputation as a fine dining location. It specializes in fresh local seafood, and you can dine in air conditioned comfort or on the balcony overlooking the harbor. They have a large bar area also, and something to consider in Georgetown, their own parking lot behind the restaurant and across the street from the Guy... More

Ate the $1 deal on Sunday. Had two surf and turf meals that were perfect for 50 CI. There were half price drinks at the bar as well so we got one on our way in. Great oceanfront meal and a fantastic value.

We stop by here especially to have the lionfish. Staff was friendly and the setting was lovely with a great view over the port full of cruise ships The lionfish ceviche was really good. Fresh and well balanced. Very good. Highly recommend if they have it on the menu.

My wife and I got off the ship and walked around while our friends were on an excursion. We were on our way to Margaritaville, when we stumbled upon Guy Harvey's Island grill and we were glad we did. The atmosphere was perfect, the beer was ice cold, and the food was absolutely fantastic. We had the coconut shrimp served... More

I'm often not so sure about "daily specials" especially when the server doesn't give the price, but gave the pan-seared red snapper a try, since its price was on a blackboard. It was superb, as was the Sesame Chicken salad. Nice location overlooking George Town harbor.
