We couldn't find this place even with GPS so the waitress came out to where we parked and directed us! Great service, however the parking lot was filled with young males in fast cars and it did feel a little shady although nobody bothered us. We were the only ones in the restaurant which is decorated like a diner/cafeteria. They... More

This place does great local/island style food. They have a Jamaican cook so that is a heavy influence. My husband who is a, Caribbean food fanatic, has said this is the best curry goat he's ever had in his life. The sauce they use in the oxtail is unreal. I have tried their snapper as well, and it too, was... More

Welly's was recommended to us by a local who said it was his favorite restaurant. It was difficult to find but worth it because the food is truly local. There were only a few selections available when we arrived for dinner takeout. We went with the fried chicken and curried goat; both were very good. Two large portions cost $22... More

I really like their food as I am fan of curry dishes. And their one is the best! But I really didn't like the poor service they have. Isn't because I am not Jamaican? How could people come back if you have the very laziest, slowest service ever. I hate to say but maybe the restaurant should look for individuals... More

Wellys is the place to go for really good Caribbean food. Dont expect a quiet lunch as it is very busy and quite loud at times. A large menu with loads of local and Caribbean dishes to choose from.

If you are looking for local food that is delicious this is your spot. I live here and we come back here time and again and it is always good. The location can be hard to find and might feel a bit rough for some people's taste but get over it. This is as safe a place as Seven Mile,... More

We went here for lunch. The restaurant is a little hard to find (it is on a side road by the turquoise lumber place). Once you find it, you'll see people outside playing hardcore dominos. Inside the restaurant, you get a paper menu of their daily specials (about 10 of them). I got the oxtail and my husband had the... More

So many folk complain that eating on Cayman is expensive, and end up resorting to the American Fast Food chains. Welly's is one of those prime examples that this doesn't have to be the case. We got this place recommended by a local when we asked her where SHE would go for good Cayman food. We found it fine -... More

If you're looking for some seriously great tasting food - take a trip to Welly's. They also deliver. My workplace orders from them all the time. I especially love their roast beef. Their BBQ ribs are great as well. So is the stew beef. You almost can't go wrong!
