We had just a few hours to spare between flights on Grand Cayman. We decided to get a taxi from the airport into Georgetown for lunch. A local dive instructor shared the cab with us and recommended Rackams for us. What a stroke of luck, the setting is perfect, right on the water's edge with huge Tarpon swimming right below... More

Within walking distance to the port. We stopped here after our day in Grand Cayman. This is a great place to relax and enjoy local drinks and food. Beautiful view, friendly staff.

Wow, this was a great find! The food was incredible, the service was great. We sat outside on the water, which was beautiful and to top it all off the prices were much more reasonable than anywhere else we ate! We wouldn't hesitate to go back!

We walked by here 2 years ago and stopped for lunch. It was amazing. The place is right on the water with great views and the food was awesome. My husband had a pork slider lunch special that was yummy and I had the best grilled Mahi Mahi I've ever had. I've been dreaming of tasting it again and we... More

We had an early evening meal here after shopping in Georgetown. It was very quiet - presumably the cruise ship passengers had left - and service was friendly and very fast. Portions were more than adequate and the prices were very reasonable by Cayman standards. The gratuity wasn't added automatically by it was well deserved. As Brits, you can trust... More

Went here after snorkeling, on the recommendation of the lady in the snorkel shop. Grabbed a table and then waited. And waited. And waited. Finally got menus and drinks. Then waited some more before ordering. When the food finally came out, it looked great. Unfortunately, the waitress forgot one meal. She was able to quickly bring us one out (I'm... More

We went there as a family (17 of us, 7 checks) we were highly disappointed. The service was slow and bad, which isn't a good combination. We weren't informed of the daily specials and wound up overpaying for a steak when we could have had ribs and chicken for much less. The steak was okay but the "grilled" asparagus was... More

Loved the seating out on the large patio! We were seated just before the 7:30 p.m. tarpon feeding. Good service from waitstaff. Food was overall was good, but not outstanding with some exceptions. Coconut shrimp appetizer was outstanding! It had a nice flavor, perfectly crisped coating, not too oily, and good fruit-based dipping sauce. Calamari was very good. Conch fritters... More

Rackam's looks like your standard beachside restaurant/bar, with a large deck extending out into the water. It affords pretty good views at just about every seat of the water and the beach in downtown Georgetown. The staff is friendly, and the crowd all seems to be having a good time. Lots of families, and at night, a lively bar crowd.... More
