We happened to walk by Rackams after touring Georgetown and was greeted by a wonderful waitress from Cape Town, SA. We were in the mood for fresh seafood and Rackams did not disappoint. The Mahi and Tuna dishes were simply outstanding in a thin layer of delicious coconut curry sauce. The restaurant is also a perfect spot to watch the... More

This was our second trip to Grand Cayman and it wouldn't have been complete without heading back to Rackam's. Right on the waterfront with a great view, large tarpon in the water right off the edge of the dining area, and above all else the food. If you decide to go (which you definitely should) get the fish and chips.... More

we have stopped here before and enjoy the drinks on the patio overlooking the harbor. The specials are good and this is a quiet spot to catch up on wifi while off the cruise ship. They are only a few hundred yards left after exiting the port gates.

Visited family in Cayman and as Rackams was highly recommended we went there a few times durning our visit. Food: 5 stars; music, atmosphere, setting: 5 stars. Service? I can handle poor service but downright rudeness, definitely not. Never in all my travels have I witnessed and experienced such a rude staff member. After our initial experience we went back... Stopped for lunch after ship excursion by recommendations from our tour guide. First the good-food was really good and the atmosphere on the open air dining room was very nice. The iguanas walking around the tables were cool and only 3 minutes walk from the cruise dock. Now the bad-the waitress was totally aloof and inattentive. No refills, couldn't get... More

Service and food were perfect! The views from the porch area closest to the water were incomparable!

First, there is very little parking at the restaurant, although there is a large lot down the street... I think it was a private lot, but there were no signs, so we used it... After a short walk, we went to what we thought was the door to the restaurant, but that was locked... You actually have to walk down... More

Rackam's does not respond to every review posted on Trip Advisor, as many other businesses world wide do not as well. We feel it is an unfair statement that this means we do not care about our product/service. If we do receive a negative review, we contact the guest privately, not publicly, to ask more details about the experience, keep... More

Had a great lunch! Fresh fish and quick service. The water is beautiful to admire while dining. The best part are the huge tarpon swimming right at the edge. There are huge iguanas walking around the deck-all this keeps the kids entertained. My husband and 12 year old got in after lunch and snorkeled around. There is a ladder to... More

We go to Rackam's every time we are in Grand Cayman. Its a great restaurant with good food and a spectacular view of the water. The food is a mix of local Caribbean fare, great fish - but be sure to ask what kind of fish you are getting. Much of the time they serve Swai, make sure you ask... More
