tarpon feeding is awesome

Rackam was recommended to us by our photographer and it did not disappoint. The food was great and the waitress was wonderful! She told us to save left over fries and shrimp tails to feed to the tarpon... so much fun watching them jump from the water!

Rackam's used to be one of my favourite pubs on the island. It's still a great, popular place. It was pretty much one of the only busy nightspots when we stopped in however I'm saddened to say that I don't fit into the demographic of this pub anymore. It was filled with college aged kids, and clearly a hangout for... More

This place was right next to our dive shop (Divers Down) so we came here 2-3 times. Not the cheapest place but food is good and they can get your food in/out quickly and efficiently. Fish and chips was very good and they have a nice view out onto the ocean.

We snorkeled Eden Rock with the large tarpon and then headed to Rackam's where part of our group enjoyed a cocktail on cushy couches overlooking the ocean while the other half of our group descended a metal ladder into the water and snorkeled the Calli wreck which was a short swim away. There was also great reef with lots of... More

Stumbled across this while wandering around George Town and following a trip to Stingray Island. It is a typical outside bar/restaurant place in a Caribbean Island however the reason for 5 out of 5, is that within this context this place exceeded all expectations. We got a sofa overlooking the bay, fast efficient and polite service where the waitress knew... More

We always make it a point to have lunch at Rackam's when we are in Grand Cayman as it always promises to be a great meal at a good price and our most recent experience was confirmation of our past experiences. The service is friendly and fast; the quality of the food is outstanding; the view is of the harbor... More

We had a delightful afternoon there for dinner watching the sun set and awaiting the feeding of the fishes at 7.30. That was just awesome as a whole lot of fishes, fairly large ones came right up on us! A unique restaurant experience. The food was very good though I thought the menu rather limited in choice. The attention given... More

After our horseback riding in the ocean with "Niki's horseback riding" (see review for her), she recommended Rackam's. Rackam's is on the water in front of where the cruise ships anchor. You can sit at the bar or under white billowing canopys. It was very relaxing watching the ships tendering passengers to and from the island. To our surprise people... More

The fish and chips were excellent at Rackam's. We were able to enjoy our lunch sitting on their sofas, and looking out at the water (and the anchored cruise ships).

Don't go there when cruise ships are in town, too busy but on cruise ship free days highly recommended- try the curry, good drinks
