We have heard a great deal of talk about Over the Edge. The food we ate was adequate, but prepared with no love. The waitress we had was dispassionate about her customers and the service was slow, even for Cayman standards. Overall, if we were to choose somewhere nearby to eat, we would go to Kurt's Korner and pass Over... More

We had an outstanding meal at the Over the Edge and everyone that we asked (mostly locals) said we should definitely stop there. It is on the other side of the island from Georgetown on the way to Rum Point. The outdoor seating is fantastic and all of the fish served is caught by local fisherman. It is truly a... More

Our family has been visiting the island every couple of years since 2007. In the past we have made the trip from Seven Mile Beach to Over the Edge for the view and food. However, the last two times (including last weeks’ visit) were terrible! Upon arrival the waitress acted annoyed when our party of 7 requested to sit on... More

Overlooking the water, the view doesn't get any better. Lots of options for affordable fresh fish. Good burgers and items for kids. Decent beer, wine and liquor pricing.

The best grilled lobster tail my wife and I have ever had. Small, casual restaurant on the water. Well worth a visit.

Having discovered this out of the way spot on a previous trip, we couldn't wait to go back! Two times. Ackee and cod is a rare treat to a Midwesterner. They have the best lobster I've had on Cayman since the demise of The Edge in Boddentown. Great view from the deck overlooking the undescribably beautiful water. We'll definitely go... More

Beware of server overcharging you the USD amount when paying in CI dollar. Difference of 20%. I used a Cayman bank card and she charged it the USD amount. When I pointed this out to the waitress she wasn't in the least apologetic but looked annoyed that I caught it. I am still waiting to see what actually was debited... More

We visited this place twice during our holiday; one time for lunch, the second time for dinner. The location is pretty special and it's worth trying to get a table outside on the decking over the water. The service was a little bit slow although very good by Grand Cayman standards generally. The food was very good, in particular my... More

This place is all about location. The menu is adequate, but I recommend stopping in here just before sunset. They have a deck out over the water and you can catch a magnificent sunset. Other than that, once was enough for me. The sunset makes it worth while, at least once. It can get a little loud and raucous on... More

Ate dinner there last night. VERY slow service. Grilled fish tasted burnt. Nice view in day and night. Spot lights in the water at night.
