Fun Stop on Grand Cayman

We were staying on the East Side and stopped by Rum Point to have lunch and enjoy a little time in the sun. Lunch was good and drinks were expensive, but someone has to pay for this little oasis.

Red Sail Sports has a nightly catamaran sail to Rum Point from Safehaven dock several days a week, The trip over and back is excellent with the return under the stars. They make the reservation at the Rum Point Restaurant and the food is outstanding. The portions are nice with the seafood pot done in an excellent broth. My partner... More

We called in for take outs ( 5 orders and sides) Portions were very small and most did not taste good. Even the burger was mediocre. For the price we would not go to this restaurant after take out orders were just ok for the price.

The Rum Point restaurant is so fun inside with many bright colors. The food was great as well as the service and we would go back again. We ate here while our kids went on the night time kayak excursion and it was perfect.

We had dinner at Rum Point Restaurant on a Friday night and the view was absolutely beautiful. The service was very good and all of out meals were delicious.

We enjoyed a delightful cruise with the professional and service oriented crew from Red Sail Sports. The lovely evening ended when we arrived at Rum Point Restaurant. Lousy, lousy service. Such a shame for the island's hospitality industry to have service workers at Rum Point Restaurant mar the reputation of a destination normally characterized by pleasant and service oriented hospitality... Dropped in after some snorkeling and enjoyed their 'famous' mudslides (they were good, but just because you make them the correct way with all liquor doesn't make yours famous). We had a great time with drinks, some sandwiches and appetizers, all while under the palms on the beach. Lots of fun, but certainly not unique. If you want to combine... More

Red Sail offers a free catamaran cruise to Rum Point to have dinner at this restaurant. The catamaran is very large, 65 ft, and spacious with plenty of seating up front on the netting or on the benches in the back. The cruise only takes as many passengers as the restaurant can seat for the evening, about 45, so make... More

As Rum Point vacationers we stumbled upon the restaurant while taking a relaxing walk at night and went in for drinks. We signed up for their beach barbecue the next day and did not regret it. Although it's a pricier restaurant you can stumble in with flip flops in relaxed beach bum mode and nobody will mind. The beach setting... More

while hanging out at Rum Point we decided to have lunch there. The jerk pork came with rice & bean, corn on the cob & slaw. The buffalo chicken wrap also came with corn on the cob. Generous portions & reasonable prices.
