As Rum Point vacationers we stumbled upon the restaurant while taking a relaxing walk at night and went in for drinks. We signed up for their beach barbecue the next day and did not regret it. while hanging out at Rum Point we decided to have lunch there. The jerk pork came with rice & bean, corn on the cob & slaw. The buffalo chicken wrap also came with corn on the cob. Generous portions & reasonable prices.

I wondered was "Rum Point" was (a restaurant? ...a park??!), and was pleasantly surprised when I finally got to learn! It's both. They make their money of food & drinks, and there are signs about 'no outside food & drink'. I thought the atmosphere might be unfriendly but that wasn't the case. We felt completely comfortable. And I was happy... More

We had avoided this restaurant last year because of a previous bad experience. This year our request to eat on the patio was met and the food and service had improved greatly. The seafood hot pot was wonderful as was the fish of the day. Ashley our service was a delight.

We had drinks and lunch here with kids. The service was slow and you had to flag down waitstaff for everything. About 100.00 for lunch for 4 with a few drinks. Pina coladas were the best we had on the island. Nice to let the kids run around on the beach while waiting a LONG time for the food/drinks. They... More

The best place for hamburgers. Sorry for delay, we went in march 2014, but we've to write something. Please see photos. In front of the sea, you can eat, sleep, organize a trip to "sting rays city", spend a wonderful day with the family at reasonable price.

Since we were staying at the Retreat next door to this restaurant, we ate our first dinner there. It was a Tuesday evening and we did not make reservations. The room was not crowded even with the group that came from Seven Mile Beach on the catamaran. The host pushed us aside and then after 5 minutes had a waitress... More

Food was very well prepared and presented. Witnessed a romantic sunset as we dined. A bit expensive, but that's Grand Cayman.

Food is really good, location is awesome and on the quite side of the island. we got the surf and turf and the lobster was perfect. Like everything in Grand Cayman it was expensive but relative considering a case of beer is close to 50$CI

We drove from Seven Mile Beach to this beautiful place. It was quite nice and relaxing. I'm not sure I would recommend it, though, just because it really is far away from where we were staying. The road was windy enough that I didn't want to have a drink before driving back. One tip I'd give you is to take... More
