Let me start off by letting you know that it did not used to be like this until new management came in. I stayed at the Retreat next door. We had reservations for 7:30. Waited 20 minutes to be seated in a dining room that was empty. As a boat docked and the people from a tour were seated outside.... More

I read everywhere that you MUST visit Rum Point while in Grand Cayman. I had friends tell me so, and found numerous forums with the same advice. Really? The place is tacky, the drinks were horrible and the food was ever worse. The service was without a doubt the worst anywhere. We had to go find the waitress to get... More

We did the catamaran sail with red sail last night as we had friends visiting which was gorgeous although rainy but hey it's that time of year. We ate in the restaurant as all reviews were so good but we only found the food so so for the price. I had steak which was massively over salted and just not... More

I highly recommend Red Sail's sunset cruise (free) to the Rum Point Restaurant for dinner. It is a 45 minute cruise that docks right at the restaurant. The service and food were outstanding. Not to mention a gorgeous sunset. All our dishes were excellent on taste and presentation. Recommend their famous mudslide as well. Service was so prompt that we... More

If you're looking for a quick bite and a great location. This is the place. The waitstaff are very friendly and the food is good. It's casual, outdoor dining with and amazing view. Perfect for families.

Their food is GOOD! And their fries tasted fantastic. Hahahaha. We ate their Mahi Mahi Caesar wrap, it was just divine. This restaurant is a must try :). We will be going again there someday.

Stayed on the East End for the 4th time this summer. Unfortunately, ate at Rum Point twice and each time got the same lazy, inattentive server. Bummer. She didn't have to work hard for a tip since 15% is automatically added to the bill. The snorkeling out at the markers (dock to the right about 1/4 mile) is great and... More

You would think that since most diners come via reservations and catamaran, they'd be able to accommodate in the two hours. Service last night, for some of us, was so slow that we couldn't enjoy a leisurely dinner nor could we get dessert before rushing back to the boat. One of us got key lime pie to go only to... More
