Our service sucked and the food was very bad. I don't understand why they let some of the servers work there. They just don't care. This is why I don't like "gratuity included" places. Servers don't do a good job and still get paid.

I ordered the jerk chicken wrap and it was good, but the meal that really impressed me was the catch of the day Mahi my wife ordered. It might have been the best fish I have ever tasted at a restaurant. I loved sitting on the beach during my meal as well. I would make it a point to come... More

The main restaurant is closed on Monday. So we ate on the beach at the multi-colored picnic tables. We were pleased they had table service and were in no hurry so didn't care if it took a while to be served. We were there to enjoy the view and people watch. Lots of little ones enjoying the sandy beach and... More

Great place to visit, we went for lunch. I had the fish BLT which at that point was the best meal so far. My wife had the Snapper sandwich with mango mayo. Both were outstanding. We had two Mud Slides and a couple of rum drinks.....yummy. You can walk out on a long pier and we spotted a small eagle... More

We did not know what to expect when we showed up with a reservation. What we got was a nice surprise. It's a moderately large building with indoor dining or a large, comfortable, brightly decorated L-shaped porch dining. The porch is comfortable, attractive, clean and decorated in a nice island theme without going over the top. The menu has some... More

We did the free catamaran cruise to Rum Point Restaurant thinking it would be a kitschy tourist trap. It is kitschy, but the food was outstanding. It's not cheap, but most places on Grand Cayman aren't cheap anyway, and this came with a great booze cruise from the other side of the island.

Over the years we have been to Rum Point every time we visit Cayman. The Rum Point Restaurant is usually on our itiniary. The Seafood Hot Pot and the Diver Scallops were wonderful. Wash it down with Pino Grigio, or several Mud Slides and " wonderful" barely describes the experience. We'll be dining here again next week.

One must realize that this is not going to be an epicurian experience, but you are at rum point beach and hungry...and this place fills the bill. Fried dill pickles enough for 6-8; fish and chips in Caybrew batter were pretty good and very filling. So go hungry and thirsty and you won't be disappointed.

We took the Red Sail Catamaran to the Beach BBQ at Rum Point in October. The catamaran trip was great...very prompt, friendly staff, and a beautiful trip during which we enjoyed the sunset and the pricey but good drinks. Reached the restaurant about dusk. Everything was ready to go, including the food. This was the part that was less than... More

Great food and atmosphere. All 4 of us praised our food. A favorite on grand Cayman. In addition great relaxed park area with snorkeling and stingray excursion.. That was awesome.
