Best Place for Lobster on Anegada

Based on our recent January 2015 visit to Anagada there are three places to have a lobster dinner. One restaurant boils the lobster, another grills the lobster but uses charcoal and lighter fluid. Wilford at Pomato Point still collects firewood from the small trees on the island and makes a real fire to grill the Lobster. Wilford used to be... More

On Anegada you have to make dinner reservatons so that the kitchen has enough food - they don't waste on this island.... We did this at Pomato Point, we were the ONLY dinner reservation - the main season on the island starts slowly on November 1. They were ready for us with a great meal, personal service and smiles. We went there twice because it was waking distance from our hotel. We made reservations and were the only customers. The food was good and the price includes the salad, main dish and the desert + coffee. Good food, nice romantic location.

She explained that she and her son harvested the conch the day prior. The beach is one of my favorite beaches in the entire world. Soft... More

Our party of nine ate here during our BVI vacation and it was by far our best dinner in the islands. This is an open air restraunt located a short walk from the beach. Everyone in our party ordered lobster which was prepared on a charcoal grill behind the building and was probably the best lobster I have ever eaten... More
