We took a day trip to Anegada while staying on VG and I had it planned out to make sure we hit Cow Wreck for lunch and the afternoon. We could not have had a better time. Upon arriving we made our way to the bar where a nice woman (who didn't work there) was making herself a drink. She... More

I have to say that Cow Wreck is the most unexpectedly amazing bar I've been to - probably ever. If you don't know Anegada - it's a nearly deserted island in the NE Caribbean - near Virgin Gorda. You have to WANT to get to this place. And Cow Wreck is one the main draws - it's open air- no... More

We moored near Potter's and took a taxi to Cow Wreck Beach. The beach, and Anegada in general, is fairly deserted - and therefore incredibly authentic. We arranged for a pick-up time three hours later, and then proceeded to spend some of the best three hours of our lives. There is a very long stretch of beach for walking, beautiful... More

Well we decided to walk along the beach to the Cow Wreck bar. It took us about an hour and a half leisurely walk with a little swim and a picnic en route. We ended up at the CowWreck Bar just as a storm was coming in, so it was pretty exciting watching the clouds and the rain. We asked... More

Cow Wreck beach is one of the most beautiful spots on the island and Cow Wreck Beach Bar is a fantastic place to wile away a couple of hours. We had lunch there the other day and it was delicious - I really enjoyed the curry shrimp, the cocktails ain't bad either!

beautiful views, lawn chairs set on the small beach... or in the surf, self service bar, great food, friendly sand service... it simply doesn't get any more authentic than this. This is not a joint full of noisy tourists, just folks who love this place.

We have the book, The Drinking Man's Guide to the BVI. In it is a coupon for a free taxi ride to the Cow Wreck Beach Bar. They refused to honor it. We were the only people at the place. It took 2 hours to get our food. The lobster was average. AND it was $56 a person. For the... More

Great beach! Bar and lunch were great. Loved the passion fruit daiquiris. You can also walk there from the Anegada Beach Club, a bit of a walk, but who can complain with endless stretches of turquoise ocean

First getting there. The only mopeds were me and my buddy. After a 30 minute bone jarring ride we found it. Fortunately leaving to the west was much easier. Then the first thing we see are young girls behind the bar? Finally figured out its help yourself after they didn't try to serve us. The rest was fun. So take... More

We had the most amazing lunch here earlier this week. The conch fritters were by far the best we have had in the BVI! Lobster season had just started so we weren't able to try those, but for sure next time. Bell makes her drinks from scratch without using the pre-mixed juices---we had the best painkillers out of all of... More
