We were staying on Virgin Gorda and one of the boaters took us out for a ride and we pulled up on this great place. We didn't even get off the boat. They handed us our drinks from the boat. The sun sets right there! Super sweet service. They offer an extensive local buffet on Tuesday and Fridays, but we were too early to eat. Come as you are.

Mermaid's is a must-stop on your trip to Virgin Gorda. The location is amazing, literally right on the water. The food is good, but the service is usually even slower than the typical "island time" you can expect in the BVI, so be prepared for a LONG wait. Very popular with the locals.

The food , fresh salad followed by all u can eat rice and beans , potatoes , veggies, curry mutton , mahi mahi and the headliner roast pig were all full of flavor and cooked to perfection. This restaurant is on the water, literally. You can watch huge tarpon swim under the dock on some days. The local food, beans, rice, crab cakes, etc. is made fresh.
