I go to Virgin Gorda often and intentionally seeked out through the locals an authentic island hop that was only visited by locals and an occasional tourist. I have eaten at Angie's several times with up to six months between visits. She always greets you with a smile and is very friendly. There is no staff it is ONLY Angie... More

We ate here several times during our stay in Virgin Gorda and very much enjoyed every meal. All meals were delicious, large portions and reasonably priced. The home made juices were also delicious and well worth trying. My husband and I recommend Coconut Junction if you are in Virgin Gorda. You will enjoy it!

We ordered 3 different things. Chicken, ribs and snapper, with 3 sides. All 3 orders with the sides were on one plate! So, the portions were tiny!! Then, everything was microwaved!! We had 2 cups, not bottles, of water that was $4!!! The food was $40!! I felt taken advantage of, which never is a good feeling. Shame on Coconut... More

We wanted a local dinner similar to Saucez but they fell extremely short. $43 for a shared plate of 3 things? Ouch! Not worth it and especially when the food went straight to the microwave! Very disappointing

We both really enjoyed our meals and the friendly service. There's no menu ~ just several yummy choices of what she was cooking. Loved the plantains and steamed pumpkin.

Good food at a good price. probably the best price on the island for a meal. Basic but good. Mostly a locals place.

We went there as we wanted some unpretentious local food. We had shrimp (mediocre) and fish (nice). The portions were just enough to not being hungry anymore as they ran out of sides, so they compensated with loads of rice. The dish was nice for a homemade dish, but when we saw the bill of 45 dollars for both dishes... More

The food is great (all the locals come here) and the price is too. We had the ribs one night and chicken another. But get here before she runs out of everything! Best Johnnycakes ever! Just wish we had tried the pig tails before they were all gone, I guess they are very good - next time!

Angie at Coconut Junction is a great cook. Tonight we had ribs, fried chicken , crispy and not at all greasy, rice and beans, cole slaw. All in all, it was a excellent well balanced meal in a cordial atmosphere. The beer was cold, a nice accompaniment to a good meal. We will return!

If you're looking for a small, informal, family run place where the food has already been cooked (perhaps days earlier) and then half-nuked to order, look no further. As far as the drinks menu goes, if you're interested in any festive island cocktails or the like you'd better drink them before arriving: all they have is a refrigerator filled with... More
