Beautiful restaurant with great food

We ate at Coco Maya 2 weeks ago. It's located on a lovely beach with lounges and fire rings outside . The actual restaurant is just beautiful. The menu is small tapas style. Loved the lobster rolls and the mussels. This place has amazing ambiance and food, you should go there if possible.

We rarely visit restaurants twice. For Coco Maya we made a well deserved exception. The food and drink were excellent and the wait staff was top notch. The restaurant is beautiful - fire pits, couches, sand, and a great sunset. We liked it so much we went back a second time for my wife's birthday.

Love love love Coco Maya. Would recommend to anyone visiting Virgin Gorda or any other BVI islands or on a boat! Beautiful location , nice food, nice staff. We have been there with and without kids. The restaurant is on a beach so if the kids get a bit unsettled we can take them away for the table for a... More

We did make reservations, I highly recommend it, especially on week ends. We arrived early, 5:30 pm, prompt service with a table next to the beach. We ordered different appetizers all evening. The tempura shrimp lettuce wraps are awesome, the beef sliders, ribs, lobster prawn gyoza are all yummy. We never ordered an entree, decided we'd had enough. The staff... More

Come to CocoMaya for the atmosphere and the food. It's right on the beach, with fire pits and couches on the sand, and the restaurant itself is open to the view. There are fun swings at the bar, and the decor is as NYC as you will get on the island. The food is imaginative and well-prepared and the staff... More

Dined with another couple and enjoyed sharing multiple small plates. Food was exceptional and the service excellent. We were right on their white sand beach with the beach fire pit burning. An experience we will return to.

Recommended by our taxi driver, as we moved to Virgin Gorda from the ferry to our accommodation, we had no pre conceived expectations of Cocomaya. The setting is very contemporary - stylish hardwood furniture, and immaculate black uniformed waitresses. In front of the restaurant, there is a fire pit, with diners enjoying drinks admiring the sea, and reef. We may... More

This is a new upscale restaurant on Virgin Gorda located at the beach. Tapas style small plates. Good food and wine list, but expensive. Lacks the typical island character.
