We had been to hog heaven before and were returning with family. We took a taxi and had arranged for a pickup time two hours later. We were greeted by a man who worked there who told us he was our party organizer. He took pictures, served drinks, we ordered conch fritters, and our meal. It was a beautiful late... More

Hired a car and drove here, be a tough walk. The view is absolutely stunning and well worth the trip on its own. All of our party had the Ribs with coleslaw and plantain, it was yummy and the meat just fell off the bones, drinks were a little heavy handed so didn't let my husband have a second lol... More

As Joseph Smith might have said “This is the Place.” If you want great views over the North Sound and great BBQ, that is. Located near the top of one of Virgin Gorda’s peaks, this is a fairly basic structure that is able to withstand the constant breeze. The panorama is picture postcard perfect. The food is some of the... More

The conceit of this place is pretty simple -- build a deck and kitchen on a high bluff overlooking the North Sound and grill up local pig and meat on a barbecue out back. The result is just wonderful, a breathtaking view punctuated by some of the best ribs and cole slaw you can get your hands on. This is... More

We were told of this restaurant on our second day on VG and immediately went there for dinner. The food and location (views) were spectacular. The Ribs had a different type of sauce to them which used a lot more Ginger and Honey than what you normally get in the states, but they were tender, plentiful and VERY Tasty. This... More

We were driving around Virgin Gorda and came up to this so decided to stop. The view is gorgeous, the food is good and we just loved our waitress. We had a good conversation with others at the restaurant. Well worth finding.

This is on top of the world... well, the BVI world! It's tiny, all outside with a roof, they raise their own hogs, have their own special recipes and sauces and are extremely kind! And the food was wonderful! The ride up the mountain is a bit harrowing but so worth it. You can see all of Virgin Gorda and... More

The lazy bartender didn't want to actually mix any of the mixed drinks on the menu so we ended up doing a round of beers and some conch fritters. The view was lovely.

Brilliant Painkillers with a view to die for! We called in here for cocktails on several occasions, and one evening had great value, tasty food here too. This is a very friendly and informal place to visit - you might need a jumper as it gets very windy up here.

Loved the food at Hog heaven and the view was even better. Locally sourced meat made the meals great... but wait until you see the view!
