We shared a burger because it was hot and I wasn't starving, but it was good. I also had a passion fruit smoothie which was more like ice cream but still yummy. We watched a world cup match on the TV so that was cool. No one swimming in the slightly dirty pool. We did explore the sugar mill ruins... More

We had dinner here probably 4 times, breakfast once and lunch twice during our week stay at Nail Bay. While this is partly due to convenience, we did enjoy eating there a lot. Shelly is a darling and we liked both chefs but really adored the female chef (never got her name). The food was very good (loved the cracked... More

We were looking for the famous Anegada Lobster. We drove to the Sugarcane and were awed by the views. We passed the Hog Heaven and after paying quite a bit for a less than average meal, we wished we had gone for the barbeque. The Sugarcane is located in Nail Bay where vacation homes are rented and sold. There were... More

I'm not the kind of guy that sends food back... ever. In our one and last night ever eating at Sugarcane, I sent food back 3 times, which makes for the only 3 times I have ever sent food back. We started with conch fritters and cracked conch. We could tell the cracked conch had been frozen and the conch... More

I am sorry that we were not able to satisfy your dining experience. Our investigation has revealed that whilst the meat dishes in question were not to your satisfaction, two other members in your group who had the identical dishes had positive feedbacks about theirs. It was unfortunate about the steak's quality, this we really cannot control but is constantly... More

If you are in the Nail Bay area this is THE place to eat. Both lunches and dinner are very good and the view from the patio is excellent. Highly recommended.

Great diverse menu. Breakfast is only for hotel guests and needs to be ordered night before. Great cracked conch, fish and short ribs

We recently traveled to Virgin Gorda with four other couples and had dinner here two nights during the week. The staff handled the large crowd with great service and warm greetings. Favorites on the menu included the Jerk Short Ribs and the Anegada Conch Stew. They also make a variety of BVI cocktails that were quite creative. We sat under... More

We loved our lunch here. The restaurant is so pretty surrounded by a small pool and hot tub and beautiful flowers and shrubs. Very good staff and excellent food. Probably our favorite meal on Virgin Gorda. Fresh ingredients. Great ambiance.

Our favorite dishes: Jamaican Short Ribs, Mahi Mahi and blackened grouper. Even the rice and beans were great. The staff were extremely friendly, including the chef.

As Virgin Gorda homeowners, we had been to Sugar Cane last year and had a fairly decent lunch, although we had to move from an outside to an inside table because of an overwhelming attack of flies when our food arrived. Inside (actually still outdoors but under the roof) they did not follow and the food was adequate if not... More

I thank you for your review and apologise as well for your experience. Unfortunately the issue of flies is something that plagues all establishments from time to time on the Island. There is a season when they are out in abundance than other times of the year; but rest assured we have been doing all that we are physically capable... More
