Yummy food in gorgeous surroundings

The Rock Cafe is worth visiting, even if only for a drink, just to admire the beautiful, lighted outdoor eating area. The pizza was excellent and the mojitos very tasty. Service was excellent. Somewhat pricier than it should be.

We were a few days into our stay in Virgin Gorda and had been to several restaurants that came highly recommended, only to be slightly disappointed (they weren't necessarily *bad,* perhaps it was simply too much hype). Only one or two people had mentioned Rock Cafe, but it was a quick ride from Little Dix so we figured why not?... More

Built within many of the large boulders on the island, this is a really interesting place. Mostly all menu items use local seafood and Caribbean spices, all delicious! One of the more formal restaurants on the island, dress shorts and button shirts for the men and sundresses for the women

The Rock Cafe has nothing to do with rock and roll. It has to do with the outdoor seating which is set amongst and around the giant boulders. Therefore, there are many different patio levels. The place was dead when we first arrived, but it soon filled up. At the suggestion of a local, I tried the eggplant parmigiana and... More

our group of 7 booked and went to the rock cafe last night (mid may) and we were really chuffed, the restaurant was half full and we were given a great table up at the first level, in amongst the rocks and a waterfall, smashing...round table too, enabled everyone to chat all night great. The service was fantastic, and the... More

My wife and I made a reservation here for dinner after being recommended it by a local on the island. The term "rock" in the title is either meant toward the rock star photos on the wall, or the beautiful rock/boulder/waterfall facade on the outside deck eating area. We sat at the top of these stone stairs that lent to... More

We visited this picturesque restaurant when we were boating "the loop" around the BVI several years ago, and had a great dinner, so thought we'd make a return visit on our latest trip. It wasn't horrible, but for us, won't merit another stop. Service was extremely sloe, with only one waitress serving the whole restaurant. Water smelled horrible, food was... More

We wanted to eat in Spanish Town during our stay. Rock Cafe was recommended to us by a staff member at Little Dix Bay. The tables are on an outdoor deck and nestled in between large boulders and rocks with fairy and bistro lighting. It is a memorable dining atmosphere and can't say I've seen anything like it. We had... More

The setting is memorable but the food was average and the wait staff not the most attentive to your needs if you ask for something and did not come back to offer more water. Had to drink others' at the table. Was good for a visit. Would not go back.
