Nice off campus dinner spot

My wife and I went to Rock Cafe for dinner. We had reservations and walked in to check in with the hostess, and was a little worried by the purple walls in the piano bar and nothing that resembled the photos online. Soon enough we were ushered to our table which was out the back door and behind... read more

You have to eat @rockcafe while in Virgin Gorda. There's a tree house option or you can sit among extremely large granite boulders. Amazing place, delicious food and great service.

This is just a short 10 min walk from Virgin Gorda Yacht Harbour, greeted with a warm welcome and shown to a prime table by the waterfall. the staff very attentive and food very delicious.

Rock cafe was one of our favorite dining experiences on the island. The atmosphere with outdoor dining, rocks and waterfalls was very peaceful. We started with Martinis and the mussel appetizer. Martinis were perfect and The mussel sauce was amazing! For dinner we shared a pizza and also the lobster saffron pasta. Both were excellent. The pizza we ordered (Caprese)... More

Great place, very friendly to our kids who were well lets just say occasionally acting their ages (1, 3, and 9). Pizza was great for the kids and the adult fare was excellent. Also has live music and an area to dance. Will go everytime we go back to this incredible island.

My family and I sat outside amongst the boulders and it was a beautiful, serene place for dinner. Everyone loved their meal. We loved the food so much, we even ordered 10 pizzas to take out back to our villa- the plain cheese pizza was THE BEST I've ever had!

This year's visit to Rock Cafe will probably be our last. The Bruschetta is good, but nothing special. The "signature dish" lobster pasta featured rubbery lobster (previously frozen). The pizza is not good in general. I really wanted to like this place. To top it off, the server whisked away the bottle of sparkling water before it was empty.

We were a few days into our stay in Virgin Gorda and had been to several restaurants that came highly recommended, only to be slightly disappointed (they weren't necessarily *bad,* perhaps it was simply too much hype). Only one or two people had mentioned Rock Cafe, but it was a quick ride from Little Dix so we figured why not?... More

Built within many of the large boulders on the island, this is a really interesting place. Mostly all menu items use local seafood and Caribbean spices, all delicious! One of the more formal restaurants on the island, dress shorts and button shirts for the men and sundresses for the women

The Rock Cafe is worth visiting, even if only for a drink, just to admire the beautiful, lighted outdoor eating area. The pizza was excellent and the mojitos very tasty. Service was excellent. Somewhat pricier than it should be.
