At Virgin Cafe's simple "Caribbean fusion" menu offers the best casual waterside dining in the BVI. Our delectable home style dishes include tender guava glazed baby back ribs, West Indian boneless chicken roti, grilled wahoo fish, gourmet sandwiches, fritters and homemade soups. We always use the best quality ingredients, including locally grown produce, freshly caught fish and Angus-grade beef. Homemade sauces and dressings such as sun-dried tomato aioli, lemon-poppy seed salad dressing, and mango chutney are house specialties. Gourmet magazine loves our Fat Virgin Hot Sauce.

You can relax on our front deck with a drink or a 3-course meal. Bring the whole family or make it a special occasion for two. As long as you're ready to slow down the pace and savor our culinary delights, it doesn't matter if you come in your high heels or your bare feet.

Worth the effort to get to

Located in the now closed Biras Creek Resort, the Fat Virgin Cafe can be a challenge to get to if you don't have your own boat. We took the free ferry from Gun Creek to Bitter End Yacht Club and walked the half mile or so back down to Biras Creek. The Cafe is open air with good food and... read more

Ate here three times during our 2 week stay - once for dinner and twice for lunch. Food was well-prepared. Both seafood and burgers are popular. Their roti is wonderful!

Nice little café with brightly coloured tables only accessible by boat. We had a mix of Rotis, pasta and burgers, all were very good. Prices were very reasonable and the service was friendly. Good place for a casual bite to eat.

On a bareboat trip to BVIs we wound up in Virgin Gorda for a few days due to weather and were looking for things to do. A short dinghy ride from Bitter End Yacht Club and we wound up at the Fat Virgin. Good food, good service, very reasonable prices. We would go again in a heartbeat!

This was a nice place to go for lunch. We both had hamburgers and they were prepared to our liking. We went by boat, and were able to sit and feel the wind. They do have limited seating. It was not a big deal for us since we were a party of 2, but if you have a larger party... More

You can get a ferry to this restaurant from most resorts, just ask at your reception. Fun food to share with a group of friends, you sit outdoors on long tables, could be a wait if they are busy but just get a few more beers in. Local dishes as well as international favourites.

Loved the curried vegetable Roti...Has come to be one of my island faves. Can't beat the beautiful view since you are right on the water, and it's not crowded at all. Also had the split pea fritters, which were nice. It's always a plus to find tasty vegetarian options!
