Great food, even better service

My wife and I went there for dinner on a Monday night. They had a special menu (barbeque) which was really nice. We got to meet all the staff, who were all very customer service oriented. The food was great. We had walked to the restaurant and asked them to call a cab for us. No cabs were available... read more

Firstly, let me say that you can't beat this location. It really is lovely. The three star rating I gave may or may not be deserved as I haven't eaten there since Chef Paul Mason left. I am hoping that by mid January, I will be able to push the score upwards, but it deserves 3 stars just for the... More

For five years I have given this restaurant five stars Chef Paul Mason turned a consistently failed restaurant into my favorite He roasted his own coffee beans, made his own sausage and developed an outstanding wine selection Unfortunately he is no longer there My most recent visit asking for the wine list I was told "Pinot, Chardonnay or Merlot" period!... A previous reviewer said something like "you come here for the food but you keep coming back for the service" and that's absolutely true. The service was relaxed but just phenomenal, they didn't make you feel like you were putting them out of their way like so many other places on the island do. The staff was so friendly. In... More

Food and service were good. We stayed at Frenchmans so eating at the Clubhouse was convenient. Wasn't our favorite but worth checking out, especially for Sunday brunch.

This is now my favorite restaurant in Tortola! The lamb chops were wonderful...the Gorgonzola flan that accompanies this dish is scrumptious!! The smoked conch app and duck pate were great too! They have an awesome wine list!! Don't miss out on this place for dinner!

One of the best restaurants in Tortola, yet often very quiet, this lovely place is a little off the beaten track. You can walk from Sopers Hole, but take a torch, and beware any loose dogs. We found them a little scary when we walked, but there was no problem walking past them. Food is always great, and the service... More

I once heard about a good restaurant where the patron said "You go at first for the food but you go back for the service." That couldn't be more than true about the Clubhouse at Frenchman's. Lusilla (pardon spelling if not correct) was a fantastic server for the meals we had there. The service was exceedingly polite, quick, and courteous.... More

Although we've visited Tortola many times, for some reason we've never before tried The Clubhouse at Frenchman's. We've been missing out! We started with a delightful rum punch (not your run-of-the-mill rum punch) while we perused the extensive wine list, which included a number of reasonably priced wines, Our entrees (a smoked pork loin and a veal dish) were outstanding,...
