Stopped at the Jolly Roger several times while waiting for Ferry Service to Jost Van Dyke. It's a great location with an amazing view. I could just sit there and watch the boats come and go for hours. Drinks were fine. Cold beer, good mixed drinks. Food was average. Fritters, sandwiches, etc.. It didn’t jump out to me as a... More

It really depends on the waitress you get but 2 people at our table fell asleep waiting on our waitress to come back, it took more than 45 minutes to get our check even though we tried twice to get our check finally asked the bartender to have the manager get our check, worst experience in the BVI for us.... Just wanted to let people know that the Jolly Roger is closed at the moment. Locals told us that it is reopening sometime before Christmas and they are optimistic that the new owner will restore it to its former high standard. Let's hope so as we had a great meal there last year sitting by the water.

The service was a good as the food. Had lunch and dinner there and everything we ate was out of this world. Loved our waitress both times.

Dinner is a must at the Jolly Roger. We had lunch & it was average, but their dinner was the best food we had on the island...I had the seafood pasta - the best I've ever had & my husband got the lobster & he said the same. The surroundings are quite simple & may leave you questioning your meal...DON'T!... More

Another restaurant with basic Tortola lunch offerings. The difference was they offer pizza - several kinds, all were very good per my family. The burger was decent, chili not particularly edible. Service faster than usual on Tortola, friendly, but not particularly welcoming. As most waterfront restaurants, the view is quite good. Honestly did not see anything special here for lunch.

Just west of the West End Ferry is this place. I recommend it for dinner. We had Chicken Roti (a West Indian curry dish that is yummy), and the Chicken Special (can't remember name) and both were great and filling. The meal was served in a timely fashion. I would recommend it.

This is a kitchy fun place to get a fish sandwich, burger, etc. The conch fritters are fantastic and the pain killers are delicious and relatively large. Nice view of Sopers Hole and the hustle and bustle of the harbor.

The food arrived almost 2 hours after ordering, even on island time, this was unacceptable. I had the BBQ chicken, average at best. There were 5 other people in my group and no one raved about their food either. When we received the bill our meals were $10 more than listed on the menu. We were told it was due... More

We were really excited about having a cold drink and possibly a snack here. But we left after sitting down and being ignored for about 10 minutes. They were not busy. The bartender was sweeping the floor. I did not feel welcome as I did every other place I went on Tortola so we left without so much as a... More
