If you're hanging around the marina waiting to check in or check out, there are worse places to eat or drink. We had lunch and dinner here on different days. Food was fine to good; service friendly; prices not unreasonable. Nothing unpleasant; nothing inspiring. But If I wasn't in the marina, I probably wouldn't make a special trip here.

Stopped at Charlie's for dessert after having a birthday dinner elsewhere. Their dessert menu was limited - they were out of chocolate cake and so we opted for the creme brule. It was the worst creme brule I have ever had. The crust was overdone and tasted like burned sugar. The inside was underdone, to the point of being cold.... More

First off, I understand Island Time and I'm not worried about waiting a bit for service. However when you sit down at the bar with two servers behind it who tell you that they will be 'right with you' and walk away not to return for over 15 minutes we'd had enough. We walked out and the 'hostess' thanked us... More

Moorings marina restaurant - the only one open during slow season while we were there. We were blown away by the great food. Unexpected. First time in 3 Moorings charters that we've dined here and sorry we missed it previously. The chef is wonderful. Indian entrees were a real surprise and delicious. Firecracker steak was delicious - perfectly prepared with... More

Good spot to eat before or after your charter! We have had dinners and lunch there. Consistently good with a super view of the marina!

The hostess and server were very personable and friendly for the evening meal and breakfast the next day. The restaurant is very convenient to the Moorings boat dock. Being a captive spot for those preparing to go sailing in the BVI, one would expect less that stellar food and service which was definitely not the case. I would recommend this... More

Great food and ambience for your arrival night at BVI, knowing that your boat will be ready to sail the next morning.

We ate here rather late the evening we arrived prior to the start of our sailboat charter the next day. We were grateful that they were still open as we had not had time for dinner in San Juan before our flight to Tortola. The drinks were very good and so is the atmosphere. It's right on the water with... More

We had the lamb chops and a couple of appetizers. Everything was overcooked (especially the tuna carpaccio. I know - carpaccio cooked????? But it was DONE tuna. Not lightly seared as the menu said). Lamb chops came with very uneventful cauliflower and boring roasted potatoes. The sauce was good but not enough of it to add flavor to everything else.... More

Food was excellent. Wine list by the glass very limited though. The staff were great. They remembered our names and our favorite dishes. Super expensive.
