Our first night in Tortola, we strolled around Road Town and walked towards the lights in the marina. In the Village Cay Hotel, we followed the music and the aromas. Sat by the railing to have a meal and see the sunset behind the sea going vessels. We passed on the lobster buffet and selected our entrees from the menu.... More

A day in Road Town getting provisions and supplies for the boat with friends led us to the Dockside at Village Cay Marina. Very nice view, overlooking what we now call "Marina TV", the comings and goings of yachts of all shapes and sizes. Unfortunately, it was downhill from there. Friends had the stir fry, and that was the best... More

We took our dinghy to the restaurant... I wasn't expecting much but my husband had eaten there before and he really liked it. It was great. Fresh, fresh seafood in my jambalaya... great seasoning... delish. They have a fish house with someone cutting up the fish... then next to it is the main grilling station with chef and cooks... all... More

After wandering aimlessly looking for a place to eat, we stumbled upon Village Cay and at first were thrilled because it is an open air restaurant overlooking the docks so it was fun to watch the boats come and go. We were there for Sunday which gave us a choice of the buffet which was $25 each -- no way!... More

Just had lunch here and although the setting is very pleasant, on the water right next to the marina, we were very disappointed at the service. The restaurant was quiet, only about 15 customers, the server was polite and took our order immediately, a ceasar salad and a burger. I noticed atleast 2 cooks in the kitchen but after 45... More

We had both lunch and dinner here. The food was excellent and the service was friendly. The view of the marina and the yachts a few feet away was fun.

While visiting Tortola for the first time, I had breakfast and lunch at Village Cay a few times. Both were very good and the servers were polite. Breakfast sandwich is good, burger is great and chicken/veg quesadilla is pretty decent. Happy hour is super fun & the bartenders, Dwight & Kid are awesome. Friday happy hours seem to be the... More

Found the staff were rude and stand-offish. We simply ordered a coffee which was clearly a great nuisance to them as it involved a little more than taking the lid off a bottle, eventually it arrived after ten minutes to arrive and was cold! I'll say no more!

If you are in port for the day or even staying on Tortola this place is worth a stop. Food is made fresh at the open kitchen, and the bar is great in providing ice cold beers and other island drinks. The restaurant faces the marina so provides a beautiful view when dining and they also have a small fresh... More
