It would be my last resort

We had dinner at the suggestion of our crewed charter and the place is a great location But there were a lot of issues First off the men's restroom was broke and the woman's toilet hardly would flush We did not go here for the toilet but for the food and that was in my opinion very sub par. Had dinner here one night while staying at Scrub Island. There's a phone at the dock at Trellis Bay...call and a shuttle boat comes to pick you up. The restaurant is on a tiny island in the bay. Rustic, funky, casual atmosphere, excellent upscale food. We had the London Broil and local Yellow Snapper with coconut gnocchi. Both were delicious.... More

Very happy to be back visiting BVI's on a two week charter break. Dinghied ashore to a very warm welcome by Shakti & her crew. We were recommended to be there when Am the singing chef was playing which proved to be hilarious! Our food was enjoyed by all, especially the beef broil & the the salad dressed with mango... More

As good Latin that I am, I enjoy good food and live music, and The Last resort has opened a new window on Tortola for night fun. I live in Tortola, and never get tired of frequenting this little piece of island, I openly invite everyone to visit and enjoy the excellent entertainment in The Island of the Last Resort.

Great food, really friendly people, and fun time. If your not careful you might never leave that island. I would go back again in a heartbeat!!!

A five minute walk from the Beef Island Airport will get you to the beach and another five minute dinghy ride will take you to "The Last Resort" restaurant. I have not been there since 2004, but loved the place and it was always a "must" for each of my 30 or 35 cruises in the BVI during 1993 to... More

The name says it.... Last resort. We had a reservation and they knew when we would be at the dock. Called and waited over 20 minutes. Very limited menu. Brand new wait staff. Language issues. Had to wait for her to go back for the soup of the day. That was after she said they did not have any specials.... More

It seems that each new high season brings new ownership/management to The Last Resort. With that, the menu and target clientele changes every year. When we visited The Last Resort in January 2014, the menu consisted of pizza and other casual food items. This year, the menu was an attempt to be more upscale with entrees such as filet mignon,... The owners were able to accommodate my wife and I into their busy evening. After ordering prior to being served we were able to take our wine and stroll the grounds and look at the views. We each had a different special that was delicious followed by a scrumptious desert. Well Done.

6 of us arrived on time for a 7:30 reservation with only about 3 tables occupied the time. There were only 4 entree's on the menu, one of them was out of stock and another (we were told by a neibouring table) was out by 8pm. Three of us ordered the grilled calamari appetizer and it arrived as a cold... More
