My fellow sailors had been raving about The Last Resort, especially Al's band, as they have been coming here for years. We wanted to make a reservation but when we couldn't get hold of them by phone I googled the place and saw that it was under new management. Well we decided to give them a go, but it was... More

We've been to the BVI 12 times now and The Last Resort has been a regular stop every time. Our first visit was in 1980 when Vanilla the Donkey, Tony Snell and the Singing Dogs were a significant part of the experience. Well, no donkey anymore, Tony passed away last August and the dogs are long since gone but The... More

The Last Resort is under new management. We have found it surprising good in the past and had high hopes for this trip. First they did not answer the radio when boats were trying to make reservations. We heard several boats other than us calling in. Ok, no problem, we will just go over and make the reservations. New management... More

Thank you for your review, I am sorry to hear about your experience with us. It concerns me that your expectations were not met during this visit. The radio or the VHF does go out time to time during the day while we are refueling or repairing our generators which power the VHF. We now have a battery dedicated to... More

We have been sailing into Trellis Bay for years and always make a point to stop at the Last Resort for a delicious meal and fun entertainment. The restaurant is now under new ownership, and they have done a wonderful job of maintaining the quality of this fantastic spot! We even decided to make time for an unplanned additional sail... More

This was our first overnite stay at Trellis Bay on a barefoot cruise and this is the main restaurant choice for dinner. It ended up being our best dinner for the week's cruise. The blackened mahi was my best fish dinner in the BVI's. Entertainment that evening was fun and the service was above average for the region.

A hidden treasure protected on all sides by water. You have to take a 2 minute ferry ride to get to the restaurant but well worth the effort. Service was attentive and the food excellent. I would return soon if I could return.

The Last resort is a local restaurant off Beef Island. We got picked up by the owners son in a small boat. He is originally from Cardiff and has been here now for many years. They took over the restaurant form the original owners to keep an island institution going. The food was great and I loved the laid back... More

When we were in Tortolla we were told about this bar that you have to get a ferry to visit . Well it's a must to go to anything like that , so off we went , it was well worth the effort , didn't have a clue where we were because we went in the dark but after the... More
