Fantastic French Cuisine

The food was delicately prepared and beautifully presented. The ambiance was a mix of white table cloth presentation and Caribbean shabby chic... the views are amazing. If this were a restaurant serving food in NY, you would be talking minimum $200 per person -- here, our lunch cost $200 for a... read more

We had a tasty relaxing lunch at a table overlooking the beach and azure water. The manager, possibly the owner, was friendly and very helpful when I realized that my phone was missing. We later located it in my husband's pocket.

Great food and on the beach. The risotto was to die for. Wonderful, clean and friendly atmosphere. A must!

Unlike a lot of the beach front restaurants in Grand Case this feels more like a ship interior with lots of mahogany, metal railings, glass panels, and tropical plants. It is a little more compartmentalized for a more intimate feeling along the railing. Right next to that are big tables for large groups but even though they are near by... More

We enjoyed some really premium French dining at Le Tastevin. The portions are smaller as they are very more on the “fancy” side. Just be aware of that. Also you can only use a charge card for Euros and if you want to pay in USD you must use cash. Neither are a problem but just be aware of that... More

We did not have a great experience. We were with a large group and had a reservation. Our server seemed bothered by having to wait on us from the moment we walked in until we paid our bill and left. The food was good, and it was expensive- which this group of world-traveling friends doesn't mind at all. But our... More

We had been to this restaurant years ago on a prior visit to St Martin and wanted to check out if they still had the same level of food expertise. Needless to say we were not disappointed. Will try them again on our next visit. Great food. The view is spectacular.

Everything we ordered was delicious...appetizers, mains and desserts. Our entire table(6 of us) were very impressed with the menu choices and all ordered different items on the menu. Would highly recommend everything we ordered. Especially the Sea Bass, Pork Tenderloin, Snapper, and Apple Tempura. First time dining in Grand Case so looked for a place we could enjoy the sunset.... My wife and I ate here for lunch and were very pleasantly surprised. The restaurant has Provencal colors of blue and yellow and is open air with ceiling fans. The room is wood-beamed and the location is right on the beach. The walls have nice island artwork. Luckily for us we were the first ones for lunch so we were... More
