We came here on a night when it was POURING outside. The entire tour was practically empty (most nights you can barely find a spot in the one lot in town, this night it was empty). It was also off season, which meant we were one of only a few couples in the restaurant that night. We were able to... More

Not spectacular food, for Grand Case standards. Appetizers were tasty, but main dishes we had were sort-of average. Free wifi.

My lady's and my travel friends enjoyed a wonderful meal at Le Tastevin. About a year later, we were talking vacations and food, and this restaurant came up in our conversation. One thing led to another, and interestingly, Le Tastevin led us into booking another week in St. Martin! Our second meal there was no less tremendous than our first,... More

As usual, we turned to TripAdvisor for dinner ideas and reviews and came across Tastevin. We booked in and took a $25 cab ride there from the Westin. It was a fantastic experience! First off, we were greeted by the owner (?) greeted us and conversed entirely in very slow French to accommodate my rusty French. We were given the... More

Just ok and not cheap, the atmosphere felt dead, empty with no atmosphere at all really. The food was nice but expensive, and I was not to convinced by the waiters wine knowledge.

my wife and I visit Le Testavin every year during our visit to Saint Martin. It has always been one of our favorites. Incredible food and an extensive wine list. Service that is attentive without being intrusive. An amazing view of the ocean and exquisite ambiance go to take the dinner experience to a new level.

We used to come to this restaurant in the past and was always special. We then started trying new restaurants and did not come back for awhile until last February and as always it was on the best meals of our 3 week stay. Next February we will make sure we come back multiple times. It is that good. The... More

We started with a chilled cucumber soup. My son had the duck, husband had the Fish special; my tar tar was outstanding! The food, view and ambience was all incredible. I highly recommend it for a special evening out in St. Martin!

We love this restaurant because it is situated overlooking the lovely Caribbean. The staff is especially friendly. This is the oldest restaurant in Grand Case…it has a neat history. If you visit, ask the owner about it! The food is always a wonderful French experience. I would suggest you skip the mixed green salad and enjoy the Caesar instead.

Appetizer was surprisingly delicious. Waiter was great. And what a lobster! They get you in the hotel and you just have to worry about having a good time.
