A Much Enjoyed Meal

We made a reservation in the afternoon and got a table right on the rail just above the beach overlooking the ocean. It was absolutely beautiful. The menu offers food with some creative twists. We kept to fish and each dish was slightly different than the usual. The mahi mahi came with a... read more

In our bathing suits, sitting at a white cloth table, with the surf lapping just below us, we had an excellent meal and experience. This is on the French side of the island with dozens of restaurants nearby - they call it a culinary capital in the islands. Based on this meal, we agree. Even the bread rivaled what we... More

We enjoyed two wonderful gourmet French dinners at Le Tastevin in Grand Case. Both evenings we were seated in prime locations by the water in the very pretty dining room so we were able to enjoy the beautiful sunset over the island of Anguilla in the distance. There was an extensive wine list and the bottle we ordered was delicious... More

Le Tastevin has a welcoming feel and a wonderful menu, not to mention the delicious food. While several restaurants in Grand Case turn patrons who don't have a reservation away, this restaurant made efforts to find us a table within 5-10 minutes. The bartender made one of the best dirty martini's on the island and we enjoyed sipping on the... More

What a wonderful restaurant! We were greeted by Philippe, who was gracious and made us feel like we were regulars. He seated us at a delightful seaside table with a great view of the harbor. I had the lamb. It was perfectly rare and delicious. My wife had the poulet, which she loved. She especially liked the mashed potato and... More

Portions that were more than ample and great wait service that was sadly in a rush to get to next sitting. Make a reservation for a sea view, the 9pm seating will allow an unhurried meal. Lean towards Argentine options in what is a pricey wine list. View is great & food is very good. The experience is french down... More

Thank you Gaetan for the great dinner! We had a fantastic server and great food. The view and the sound of the ocean made the experience even more special! We would go back without thinking twice.

We have been going to St. Martin for 10 years and had never tried this restaurant. What a mistake! The atmosphere and view are wonderful and the food is excellent. We had the tuna tartar and the veal chops. The host was very welcoming too. We will definitely add this to our list to visit again next March

Le Tastervin recently changed ownership. The previous owner, Joseph, still works there. He will work only for two more months until he fully retires. Grande Case is the dining capital of St. Martin. Parking is always an issue for all the restaurants, but the food is considered the best on the island. I was curious how things may have changed... More

We have been to Grand Case twice before, each time for a week. This visit we only had a day, so wanted to make the best of it. We were hoping lunch at Le Tastevin would fit the bill, and it didn't disappoint. We arrived a few minutes early four our reservation and were seated at a lovely table overlooking... More
