The Best in Grand Case

I had booked a reservation well in advance of our trip to St. Martin for our final night. I was a little unsure of the choice, as it was not listed in the top 10 places to eat on Grand Case. My wife and I went into town with the intention of stopping in and cancelling the reservation and... read more

We had a wonderful dinner at Le Tastevin! Make a reservation and request a table overlooking the water, you will not be disappointed! We lost power in the middle of our meal and the staff did not miss a beat! Small, romantic lanterns quickly lit the tables, it was so lovely that we were sad when the power came back... More

Our family of four had a great night out at Le Tastevin. We drove to Grand Case around noon, thinking that we might be able to sit on the beach, but there wasn't much sand. The water came all the way up to where the buildings were. It was beautiful though. So we stopped in at Le Tastevin and made... More

We kept getting favorable reviews about this restaurant, so we went. The ambiance was lively. Loved the open air, unique floor plan, with the entire restaurant overhanging the ocean below. We were seated right on the edge of the deck. What an incredible view of the ocean! Even though it was night, the lighting on the water was great. We... More

had a lovely dinner overlooking the water with Anguilla in the distance. Service was efficient though a little brusque and rushed. Cucumber soup with tomato mousse was light and tasty. Our main course was a shrimp and scallop entree with baked apple, broccoli and mashed potato in a delicate cider sauce. They have a good wine list as well as... More

We were disappointed with our dinner at Le Tastevin. The service was good and the view was outstanding, but the dinner was not as good as expected. We shared a bottle of wine, an appetizer and the Osso Bucco special. This is a small thing, but they did not split our dish which made the presentation disappointing. The meat was... More

Everyone has their opinion when it comes to their favorite restaurant in Grand Case. They are all good but for me this one stands out the last two times being in the area. I think you will agree if you are willing to go with their suggestions on what they do best.

We visit Grand Case every year and have eaten at all the best Grand Case restaurants. In our opinion Le Tastevin always ranks in the top two. There is no better ocean front location and the food and service are excellent. This year we ate there twice. The first time I had the Turbot and my wife had their pork... More

We could only pick one Grand Case restaurant due to time constraints so we picked this one because of the location on the water and recommendations from TripAdvisor. Our table for 5 by the water was ready during the busy Tuesday night Festival, as promised by a quickly responded email, but that's where it ended. After being seated it took... More

If I went to this restaurant back home I would have been very satisfied but when you compare it to the other restaurants in Gran Case it falls short. The food was good, service was a little slow but not annoying. It's on the water so you get the soothing sound of the water against the shore - great ambiance.
