Anniversary Dinner

Two couples out for a celebratory dinner. We were greeted at the door, seated right up front by the windows and given the first drink of the night on the house. It was our anniversary so my wife and I split a large lobster from the tank. Half grilled, half thermidor. If I could do it over I would... read more

Took me 4.5 months to finally get a minute to write this review. My wife and I got so busy coming back to work and reality, we couldn't find a spare minute. We need another trip to SM ASAP. I don't write many reviews( I think this is my 2nd) but I had this one stuffed away in the back... More

The food was just ok, but the atmosphere was very different. The main waitress that stands outside, was very serious and not very friendly. The other waitresses that services the food were much more friendlier so we couldn’t figure out why the owner would have the other one standing outside.

This was our first trip to Bistrot Caraibes, however it will definitely not be our last. My hubby had the Lobster Thermidor and it was so delicious. I had the shrimp and it was wonderful as well. The atmosphere was charming and well decorated. One of the owners came by our table several times throughout the night to check on... More

We go to St. Martin every year and always eat at Bistrot Caraibes. There are many great restaurants in Grand Case but this is one of our favorites. In addition to the wonderful lobster, the menu has many other great choices. Plus the brothers who own the restaurant and the entire staff are very warm and welcoming.

What a gem on a street filled with restaurants in Grand Case!! It will now be our number one spot when we travel to St Maarten and you should too! I had lobster two different ways, my husband had a terrific veal dish, escargot and mushroom appetizer and to top it off, chocolate prirfiteroles!! Be sure and make a reservation!!!... More

We made a reservation about a week before our visit without any problem. When we arrived at the restaurant, we were seated at a large round table although there were only 2 of us. The table wasn't set (and we had to ask for silverware, water glasses, etc). That being said, the lobster was delicious and the tuna appetizer was... More

This is classic gourmet French cuisine, with no apologies. The brothers who run this restaurant are smart businessmen, excellent chefs, and gracious hosts. There are lobsters in the tank, if you that's what you want. The special veal dish is amazing. Look at the specials of the day, and see if anything inspires you. Enjoy this intimate, exquisite little restaurant... More

My wife and I dined at Bistrot Caraibes for our last dinner of our 10th anniversary trip to St. Martin. We already knew Amaury, one of the owners, since we rented our Mont Vernon apartment from him. Staying in the property gave us a 10% discount at the restaurant. The restaurant is pleasantly decorated, open to the street, with subtle... More
