We were almost scared off by some recent negative reviews, but all was fine. Tuna tartare appetizer was gorgeous and really delicious and came with a small salad with Dijon dressing. We had another fabulous meal at Le Soliel. We had the onglet special, perfectly cooked steak with a delicious sauce and frites. The setting is lovely, overlooking the sea. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. Highly recommended.

Very elegant but casual. Delicious food. We enjoyed the beautiful sunset. My meal was very tasty. Started with a ceasar salad then Sliced chicken in a mushroom cream sauce with veggies for the entrée . Yum yum yum.

This was rated as one of the top 5 French restaurants in Grand Case, St. Maarten. It was anything but. I knew when we walked in and saw improperly set tables, the owners in shorts tank tops and their young daughter running up to all the tables & pestering the patrons that I was up for a less than quality... I visit this restaurant every year and am never disappointed, it is low key an assuming, though beautiful setting overlooking the water. The husband/wife team make the food and run the restaurant. Tartes Flambes (Alsatian pizza) is excellent as is the sugar cane crusted duck.

We ate here on a Tuesday night which is the Mardi Gras celebration in town. The town is very busy and this might be why we thought this was just very average at best. The waitress was trying hard but was overwhelmed and did not seem to be getting much help from the other staff. The food was below average... More

One of several top restaurants we visited while on the Island. Menu had more variety than many others. Very good food and very friendly service.

We had lunch here on two occasions , having driven over from Simpson Bay , the setting is idyllic and the food and service matches this . The. Special starter of a prawn and scallop cassoulet was fantastic , the sauce a seafood lover's dream , the mushroom and lobster risotto cooked perfectly with superb flavours of different mushrooms and... Showed up early without a reservation and the owner, Ben, offered us a premium table but gave us 2 hours to enjoy it. Started with the mussels as an app and they were the best I've ever eaten! Our table ordered the whole sea bass and lobster risotto, all terrific! Ben was very accommodating and took multiple pics for us.... More
