Le Cottage We went here for dessert on our honeymoon after eating dinner in our room. Service was strange from the beginning. We seemed to have both a waiter and a waitress, who alternated serving us. We'd ask the waiter for more water, and he'd disappear. Next the waitress would come by, and ask if we needed anything. We'd say... more

Le Cottage offers a relatively pricey, beautifully plated french food. Out of several dishes we ordered, everything had amazing presentation, palatability however varied. The pegeon plate was great, and the deserts as well. The medium-rare duck, however, was tough as a shoe-sole, and while i tried my best to chew through it, it proved to be a battle lost. more

Let me preface this review with the fact that I am no easy sell. I run a catering business in New York and have been tainted by the business to expect everything to be perfect. Unfortunately it is somewhat of a curse. I can't go out to eat just anywhere! Le Cottage is at the top of my list at... more

Happened upon this wonderful restaurant by accident. We ended up eating there 3 times during our 2 week stay on St. Martin. Each time we were more impressed by the food and service then the last. The staff was very warm and friendly. The food was beautifully prepared and delicious. Our sincere thanks to the staff and chef for an... more

After 2 absolutely outstanding dinners at Le Cottage, we feel like it would be the one reason we would return to St. Martin before heading over to Anguilla. Being from NY, we can confirm that the meal is absolutely a 5 star experience--the food, presentation, ambiance and staff (the owner Bruno, hostess Isabelle and somilier Stefan) all contribute to the... more

My wife and I spent only three nights in St. Martin on the tail end of our vacation in Anguilla. Thanks to Trip Advisor we did a little research and found Le Cottage was top on the list which fueled our decision to dine there. The service was the best I've ever seen and the menu offered me something that... more

My girlfriend and I spent a few days on St. Martin last weekend. We first dined at Le Cottage. The staff was very attentive to our needs and requests. We ordered the steak, which was perfectly cooked and of quality. The side dishes were good, though the risotto was just a tad runny, but still tasted great with the cheese... more

We have considered Le Cottage to be the restaurant we compare others to. We have eaten there several times and have never been disappointed, even with our high expectations. Bruno and his staff, as well as the food, are top notch. We ate there in July and for appetizers had a shrimp/crabmeat appetizer and lobster soup in a puff pastry.... more

We dined there in early August after reading all the good reviews. We had a very good meal and grateful for that, both ordering the Lobster Tasting menu. However, we don't consider our dishes the best meal we have ever had, or it rivals Le Bernardin in NYC as a reviewer has used as comparison. I guess one of the... more

I was just there with my wife on Aug. 18, 2009 - The staff was very friendly and made great suggestions. The food was presented beautifully and tatsed delicious -- but having now returned from my holiday - and thinking in retrospect -- it was not the best dinner we had -- I would definitely recommend this restaurant - but... more
