Delicious dinner with charming, attentive waiters and a wonderful view. I recommend the lobster ravioli and crepes. Salads were also nice.

My wife and I vactioned at the RIU Palace at Anse Marcel Bay in St Martin during the month of August 2014. While there we rented a car and drove to the town of Grand Case every night to eat dinner. Grand Case is a small town on the water and the main street is lined with numerous restaurants with... More

Superb ..My boyfriend and I can't express enough how much we enjoyed our dinners! The lobster ravioli app was by far the most delicious homemade ravioli we ever had, followed by the sea bass and shrimp risotto! Cooked to perfection!!!! Very impressed and the service was impeccable! I would highly recommend this as a must go! The crème brulé another... More

The dinner my wife and I had was absolutely perfect. Gerard is a gracious host and Michael was an excellent server. Our meal was accompanied by an excellent, reasonably priced bottle of wine. A truly memorable dinner experience.

Our dinner was perfect. Lobster ravioli was amazing. Wanted to scoop the plate until the last drop. Vanilla sauce with the fish was divine. Chocholate fondant as dessert with pistase ice-cream made the perfect ending. One of the rare places on french side where you dont be treated differently by not speaking french.

My boyfriend and I went here one night as a recommendation from our cab driver who brought us over to Grand Case. The view is stunning. We both said we would have been disappointed if we didn't have a table that was right on the water, but fortunately it was not very crowded that evening (it had rained on and... More

My husband and I visited the Grand Case area of St. Martin by chance one evening, while driving the island after eating a late buffet lunch. As we walked the main street full of restaurants, we came upon L'Escapade, and were greeted by Laura (Llora, in her native Columbian spelling), a delightful young woman who instantly made us feel welcome.... We were very disappointed in the food. Something has changed, as we use to go several times when on the island. We actually sent back some food as this sauce was burned and tasted bitter, they did not charge us, but tried to give us something else. Prices are also very high. It's a shame, as the views are great.... More

This is a review of one appetizer only as this was part of a rather whirlwind night of dining at 3 different restaurants: L'Escapade (appetizer), Le Tastevin (appetizer again, entrees), and L'Auberge Gourmande (dessert and cognac) We visited L'Escapade after a very nice young Frech woman (who worked at a neat shop on Grand Case main street) recommended it for...
