a must try if you're in st. martin. we ordered the escargot and frog legs as appetizers which were both amazing! the escargot was filled with garlicky and buttery deliciousness! and frog legs were tender and succulent. and entrees we had the duck breast, filet mignon, and lamb chops. i would highly recommend all three. the filet mignon had different... We had diner in this restaurant on a Friday night, off season. We had appetizers to share (seafood vol aux vents) followed by entrees. Has the tuna and my wife had the duo of scallops and gambas. Both dishes were presented beautifully, with a variety of refined vegetables that were delicious. We topped the diner with a lemon pie to... More

I heard about this restaurant. And I figured let me visit. They virtually took an hour to serve me my food. I got frustrated and left

This restaurant is small and feels very French. I ordered the beef filet and it was absolutely amazing. I was with a group of 12 and we all received a complementary champagne and two shots after our meal. I ate every piece of food on my place which is rare, but it was too good to leave on the place.... We tried eating here this year since it is the top rated place. We enjoyed the meal, but no wow factor as our favorite place. I won't mention the other name since I do not want to be accused of being a competitor. :) Service was great, food was very good. No real complaints, just not the best in our... More

We went to a different restaurant in St Maarten for 7 nights. L"Auberge was our favorite. Pascal figured out that we were kosher (no meat, no seafood) and had our dishes prepared accordingly. His wine cellar is well stocked and is the only carribean wine cellar we have seen with kosher wine. Service was prompt with a smile.

My companion and I had decided that one night during our trip to St. Martin would be devoted to a gourmet French restaurant experience. Frankly, it was the most highly anticipated activity of our trip (for me at least). Let me start at the beginning. We had an early reservation (6:30 p.m.) and the restaurant was virtually empty when we... More

On our trip, we really wanted to take advantage of SXM's french side and try one of the authentic French restaurants. We choose L'Auberge Gourmande mainly because the menu featured both a frog leg appetizer (something I had never tried and wanted to experience) and also a entree featuring duck breast (a favorite of mine.) The charming restaurant was lovely... More

Lovely little French restaurant in Grande Case. We went a little early due to our unfamiliarity with the area. Restaurant Row was lively and noisy but not nearly as questionable as Marigot. Staff was wonderful, attentive and food was off the charts!!!! Onion soup was so good and generous portion as well. Scallops and shrimp entree was so flavorful that... More
