My husband and I went to St Maarten for our honeymoon and went to the Panlaan for dinner one night. The food was amazing and the view was incredible. Nice, romantic atmosphere. We would recommend this restaurant if you ever visit this beautiful island! -Alyssa and Bobby

The restaurant was recommended by our resort and was excellent. Lovely sofa seating areas face the bay as well as tables. Prices are reasonable unless you have to have costly bottles of wine. Our entrees were mid-$20 each. With 15% automatic service fee added 2 people ate for <$60. No booze, just Thai ice tea, which was ok but won't... More

Since our visit in 2011, we were excited to see several Thai restaurants open for business in St Martin. After reading several reviews we tried Panlaan (BTW not easy to find. It is only a block from Pineapple Pete but look for a small bank to make the turn) . The service and location were excellent and so was the... More

I frequent this restaurant because no one beats their Thai selection on the Island. The food is phenomenal. ..try the cashew chicken or Bangkok beef broccoli. It's like no other. Service is exceptional every time I visit. Give it a try, I guarantee you will return.

What a wonderful total experience! I was traveling with a larger group (11 of us) for a wonderful life celebration. We rented a villa in St Martin for a week and this was the actual 20th wedding anniversary dinner choice. Did not disappoint! Not only was it a romantic location right on the water, but the food was amazingly good... More

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience. We started with the chicken satay for appetizers, and were both blown away at how fresh and flavorful the dish was. Melt in your mouth chicken with sauce to match! For entrees, I had the shrimp and vegetable stir fry and my wife had the chicken with ginger stir fry. Both... More

If you like Thai food, you must go to Panlaan. The food is excellent and it is right on the marina in Simpson Bay. We went twice in the week we were on the island.

We discovered this restaurant in January and dined there several times. We were recently on the island and this was one of our must eat at restaurants. Everyone we recommended this restaurant to also enjoyed it. The food is very fresh, exellently prepared and authentic as opposed to the typical American restaurant thai food. You can choose your level of... More
