Good food, excellent value

We've been dining at Alexander's for years and have gotten to know Yvonne, the owner, and her staff. This is good local food at an excellent price. The upstairs restaurant has recently been totally redone and offers both indoor dining as well as dining on the terrace. We love the oxtails and... read more

We loved this place and were surprised at how not crowded it was. We had shrimp one night and ribs the next day. All we had was wonderful and plenty to eat. There's nothing fancy about the place but a good view of the harbor.

We ordered spaghetti and meatballs on "Pasta Night" and couldn't believe that the meatballs were the rubbery frozen things that any of us could buy in the grocery store. The spaghetti dish itself was overcooked, didn't have enough sauce, and wasn't served with parmesan cheese ... amateurish. For some reason we went there for a breakfast a few days later.... More

There are too many other places to eat around Simpson Bay to waste your time here. The food is not that great and the service was horrible. Slow food, hard to get a drink refilled. Just don't do it. Prices are way to expensive for what you get for your money.

This place is so unorganized and the servers are untrained or just don't care. Getting any service was difficult. We ate here for breakfast a few days since we stayed in the complex and had the same experience every day, even though they never were busy. The breakfast items like bacon and eggs and pancakes were so so.

The menu for breakfast here was amazing. They serve lunch and dinner also but having breakfast in the open setting with the sea and yachts to your right and incoming air planes to your left makes it a perfect relaxing spot. Walk with your towel and the beach is 20'away to continue your relaxation. The waitresses are prompt and pleasant... More

They have moved to Pelican but the sisters are still cooking. Fantastic flavor. Reasonable portions. Great price. Oxtail, chicken lasagna, seafood fetticine, cherry cheesecake. All great flavor and value. Take the time to find the sisters, you won't regret it. Our favorite and we've been going for 7 years.

I have been here before so I knew what I was getting with the food, but the situation that I went through with them, has changed my outlook on this establishment. After paying for the check, my bf & I left, after an hr, we realized we forgot to take his cigar lighter, so we walked back (we were only... More

We went for pasta night and were not disappointed. The price was amazing, only $15.00. We got a salad which was small but good.I had the mahi with seafood linguine and garlic bread. It was so tasty. My hubby got the chicken parm and was happy with it. The staff is friendly and attentive. I think this was our best... More
