We went to Uncle Harry's after receiving a recommendation from another couple staying at the same condo complex as us. We tried to look up the restaurant for reviews before we went but unfortunately the internet service was down in our condo. If only we had waited! The recommendation was definitely based on the previous owners establishment. Not knowing that... More

This is not the "old" Uncle Harry's. New owners, children selling jewellery, walking around with a ferrat, dog dishes under the diner's tables, no Visa machine, sharing the salt and pepper with other tables...on and on until we left. What a disaapointment! Other years have been fine. What happened???

First, this is not the Uncle Harry's you have been too before. It has new owners/managers. The food is not anywhere near what it used to be. If you like paying $27 for a dry pork chop and french fries, be my guest. More disturbing is the way my bill was handled. The paper check they originally gave me was... More

We have been to St Maarten for 7 years. One tradition was to have a dinner at Uncle Harry's. I look forward to it every year. This year, as always, off we went. Much to our surprise, we where told it was sold and had new owners, and the rest was history. Everything on the menu they did not have.... More

Uncle Harry's is a hidden treasure. You actually drive through a shipyard to get to the restaurant. Obviously it makes for a casual dinner, but the view of Simpson Bay is great. There is full bar service. The best part is picking out your live lobster and having it grilled for you. Yummmmmm. A visit to St. Maarten just wouldn't... More

Our cab driver recommended Uncle Harry's after another place had been closed. When we arrived, we were seated right away. The service might have been a little slow, but the quality personality of the staff made up for it. My mother-in-law and split the Lobster and he was great. My husband had the steak and he loved it.

Based upon a recommendation from a fellow tourist who has visted St. Martin 8 times, 10 of us had reservations at Unle Harrry's for 7:30pm on Bastille Day. All looked promising. After an hour we finally got our appetizers and salads. Two of us completed our dinners before anyone else at the table even got their meals. The filet was... More

I feel I must first say that we have visited Uncle Harry's many times in the past and will probably go again just based on the law of averages. This visit was a disappointment. First was the server, Bruno. Now when you are told upon being seated that it was supposed to be his night off but "had" to come... More

I had heard all this neat stuff about Uncle Harrys. We went there and there was one table occupied, two dogs laying at the entrance, and, the only waiter sitting at the bar. We asked for a menu and he found one and gave to us with not a word. the place looked dirty and everything on the menu was... More
