Pricey restaurant on St. Maarten. Food was good but service was lacking. Non smokers beware- A chain smoker sat next to us and one of our party had to leave(allergies) Open air but it was blowing right on us. Lobster prices were less here but average weights were 2-3 pounds at 25.00 a pound. Clam chowder was really good and... More

I love the HUGE lobsters that are in a small tank when you walk to the seating area!! I had the crab backs and crab/corn chowder and both were very good. My husband had the escargot and he was quite pleased. Very friendly staff and very accommodating.

We went here after reading reviews on trip advisor & we wished we hadn't. We came out feeling I've we'd been robbed. We had a server called Junior & with only 3 tables in,we went early for dinner as it was raining we assumed we'd get good service but my husband asked for a beer & after 5 mins it... More

Very nice atmosphere and view. We went here for lobster because it was only 19.95/lb. They didn't have anything under 2 lbs when we went. Not sure if that's a money scam or they just didn't catch anything under 2 lbs. My fiancee got the ribs and lobster and loved every bite of it. I got a steak with their... More

We ate here e other evening and the place is awful by island standards and worse by any other standard. It's basically a tourist trap and you can get better food for a third of the price on practically any beach on the island. This was the first disappointment we've yet to have on the island. The one good thing... More

I was a little underwhelmed by the food and service. The food was decent. I actually enjoyed the stuffed chicken but my partner (and I) weren't very crazy about the under-seasoned blackened fish. When I think of blackened (being someone who enjoys southern US food) I think of highly seasoned meat on which the seasoned coating is essentially burnt or... More

When going to St. Maarten we always have lunch at Skipjack's and it never disappoints! I know this sounds crazy, but I am not a big fish eater but love the fish and chips. Everyone at the table but one got them and we all raved. My sister had the fish taco's which she said were great but wished she... More

We have eaten at Skip Jack's the last couple years while on island. Great marina view and ambiance. Service is fairly good and get used to island time. Food is very good. The asian plate which is on the lunch menu, but not on the dinner menu is awesome. You can order it for dinner, but you need to ask.... More

This restaurant had the best grouper and mahi mahi. If you're on Simpson Bay and want some delicious seafood then this is definitely the place. The ambiance is romantic with scenes of the Simpson Bay Lagoon and the sun setting behind the mountains. For desert try the apple tart with vanilla ice cream and the key lime pie.
