Went back to Lee's this year and it was great as always. Love the conch fritters and whole red snapper. Can't beat it. ANd great music as well..
After numerous trips to SXM, we have always looked forward to dinner at Lee's. However, on this trip we were not as impressed. We always order the grilled mahi mahi and have raved about it on previous trips. However, it was lacking taste this time around. In addition the prices appeared to have risen quite a bit since our last... More
There is a wonderful view of the yachts moored in the bay, if you happen to be seated in the back. It gets windy, but worth it for the view. Also, if you look over the railing, there are a group of large fish that hang out there, waiting for food. Kind of cool to see, especially if you have... More
I've been to Lee's several times during my two visits to St Maarten. The staff are very friendly and the good is great. If you want great grilled food while in Simpson Bay stop here. They also have live music so you get a great dinner and a show.
We sat at a table right by the water and the view was beautiful. We watched other guests feed the large fish that swam nearby. The shrimp was good, but the service was terribly poor. Luckily we knew by this time to not be in any hurry at restaurants in St. Maartin, so we tried to just enjoy the open... More
It depends on what you like. It is a big open restaurant with live music. We had a whole snapper and I was really looking forward to it. I had a small snapper, because the medium was sold out. The small was already quite big I think. We ordered vedgetables and French fries with it. It were really american portions.... More
Nice restaurant across from the royal palm Beach Hotel . The ribs were very good and they cook them right at the entrance . We fed the tarpon which swim right near you which was very interesting. The mahi mani was good but the vegetables were overlooked and mushy. Staff was friendly and served us well. They did forget our... More
We stayed right across the street and every day we smelled the grill. It made you hungry even if you just ate. We ate here several times during our trip. Loved the grilled snapper- I thought this was by far there best dish. The ribs were OK and the burgers were good. The conch fritters were tasty but a bit... More
Open door welcoming place. Fun to watch the boats or sit at bar and people watch on the street. Food was pretty good-plantains were awesome...ribs were dry but tasty.
BBQ chicken quarter appraiser - primo Grilled Mahi Mahi sandwich - one of the best we ever had Put the Matouk's Calypso Sauce on everything. These items were so good we didn't try anything else. We promised ourselves (whilst reminiscing on the flight home), next trip, we will venture out and try other menu items. Good beer specials every day... More
