Tropicana continues to be our favorite restaurant in St. Martin/St. Maarten. My son and I enjoyed two fabulous meals here a few weeks back. We had lunch on the day we arrived before heading over to Anguilla and then came back over with our friend, George, with the express purpose of dining at Tropicana and it was phenomenal both times.... I had eaten here two years ago and couldn't wait to return. I had the superb goat cheese salad and the pork special. Their sauce on the meat was to die for. They also have their own personal pastry chef so make sure to leave room for dessert. It's on the pricier side of restaurants in Marigot but it's definitely... More

We had our tour guide make us reservations so we could sit by the Marina. We arrived a little late and they still held our table for us. We didn't realize there was so much food, so we didn't save room for dessert (should have made room--haha). I had a wonderful escargot with puff pastry appetizer along with a wonderful... More

I agree with the reviewers who wrote that it is unfortunate that Tropicana is listed #1 in Marigot. We have been here for a month, with many a splendid meal (food and service). Tonight was not one of those experiences. If it is really busy, I advise you to find somewhere else to eat. As another reviewer said, "They have... More

This is a must do restaurant to experience on St. Maarten! We did not have a reservation, so we had to wait, and we were very glad that we did. The other restaurants next to this place are dead compared to the activity at this place!!! Once you sit down, you see why. The service was friendly and efficient. The... More

We decided to take a day from our beach vacation on Anguilla and take the ferry over to Marigot. It was neat for our 9 and 6-year-old daughters to experience a french community. The people were very friendly! If you spoke French, they responded in French. If you spoke English, they did the same. I had planned in advance that... More

The setting on the Marine in Marigot, combined with the greatest and most attentive staff, top shelf food preparation and presentation - it does not get any better. The deserts presented are not only extraordinarily good, but the presentation is such that everyone is taking photos of the desert before they indulge. Simply fun, worth every penny you pay, never... We saw this restaurant listed on the Top 30 of St. Martin and set out in search for it. We parked nearby (if you're going to stay in St. Martin for longer than a couple of days I highly recommend you renting a car) and walked through the shops to the Tropicana. We were greeted by the owner, he showed... More

Tropicana made a special table for us harbor-side so we could enjoy a late lunch. Incredible service and very tasty lunch with an assiete de fromage to die for. But the best treat was at the end when our waiter talked us into ordering mousse and a raspberry meringue coulis. The desserts were as fantastic tasting as they were to... More

My husband and I have been going to St Martin for over 20 years and this is the first and last restaurant that we go to. Chris takes care of the customers like they were family. We have eaten here probably over one hundred times and we have always had the best meals. No other restaurant and personal service compares... More
