It was slow every step of the way. When we got it, the food was very good. The restaurant was crowded but there should have been more staff. We had to keep asking the waiter to pay attention to us. Wewhadordered mint tea, which did not arrive. When we finally asked for the bill and to forget the tea, he... More

I do not usually write a review unless it is because I loved something, but I felt compelled this time, because it was such an extreme case of terrible service. I had been there once before and remembered having a great experience and good food. I had also heard there was hookah and belly dancers. We celebrated our first wedding... More

Being from LA we know good Moroccan food and this is the real deal. Great food, huge portions and the setting is beautiful especially since the recent remodeling. The prices are very reasonable considering the quality and the portions. When we visit SM for 2 weeks we always come here once or twice. Really close to our place in Simpson... More

We had a great meal here at Le Marrakech. The restaurant is deceiving from the outside but once you walk in and hear the stream of water running, see the plants and the amazing stained glass, fixtures, moroccan pillars you are transferred into another world. The food was amazing and we couldn't have enjoyed ourselves more! Cous cous and chicken... More

We decided to go here on the basis of very good TripAdvisor reviews. Little did we realize that we were showing up for the restaurant's re-opening, after 4 weeks (or was it months?) of being closed for renovations. You walk in off the busy Rue Hollande, and -- just as in a Moroccan medina -- the din of street noise... More

I second the review of Mr. Brainerd. It is an authentic Moroccan restaurant in the heart of Marigot. From appetizers to the mint tea at the end of the meal, all is exquisite. I love the Harissa and the Kemia to start. For the main meal, what to choose? The Couscous Maassal and the Tagine Barkouke are two of my... More

Place is excellent. Superb decor and wonderful Tajine food. Not much Arabic food around of such kind on Saint Martin but this one is worth a visit.

The food was awful. While I'm not an expert in Moroccan food, I've had it in San Francisco as well as in Bermuda and both were really a great experience. Not here. I don't know if this was an off night or what, but I didn't even think the ambiance inside was as nice as it could have been. The... More
