Place is excellent. Superb decor and wonderful Tajine food. Not much Arabic food around of such kind on Saint Martin but this one is worth a visit.

The food was awful. While I'm not an expert in Moroccan food, I've had it in San Francisco as well as in Bermuda and both were really a great experience. Not here. I don't know if this was an off night or what, but I didn't even think the ambiance inside was as nice as it could have been. The... More

PROPERTY: Utterly spectacular oasis! It was utterly gorgeous. Tastefully done - Morocco in the Caribbean. Great attention to detail, use of color and texture. The courtyard was beautiful. I could go on and on and on. I reveled in the beauty and tranquility of this space. It was close to perfect. Go for a drink and hang out in their... More

Couscous plates or tajine casseroles, authentic and hearty. Lamb shank tajine with eggplant, chicken with preserved lemon, mountain of couscous, boiled veg in broth side. Garnish with hot, earthy harissa and/or raisin sauce. Small appetites may want to share. Appetizer "salads" are little bowls of carrots in honey, tabbouleh, hummus, roasted peppers, spiced cubed potato. Moroccan white and red wine,... More

Don't let the neighbourhood fool you. This restaurant is a little gem. Delicious food, fantastic atmosphere and a very sympathetic host (in traditional clothes) provide you a meal to remember for a very reasonable price.

We love this place ; for the extraordinary owner Norredine and the decor. Don't be put off by the somewhat sober exterior, push the door to the right and enter the authentic Moroccan courtyard. Food is fun and near-as-you'll-get to what you had on your last trip to Morocco - sans the instant-slim "Tourista" the next morning :-) Waitstaff are... More
