Absolute best croissants you can find

Now this is the place to go for absolutely wonderful pastries. This year We not only ordered our all-time favorite almond croissants, but purchased many other bakery goods: cookies, pastries, and baguettes. We barely got back to our place without indulging in a little of everything. This is an... read more

Every morning during our stay in St. Maarten, we pick up croissants and a baguette at this little bakery. The almond croissants are my favorite, but the chocolate croissants, fruit tarts and bread are all fabulous, too! Items are very reasonably priced and are fresh out of the oven. There's an outside area on the water, if you would like... More

For three years when we visit at. Maarten for two weeks we go here for bread and many other sweet treats and delicious coffee on their terrace overlooking the back Bay! Baguettes, mini quiches in several flavors, sweet pastries........

Quite by accident we found this charming French Pastry Shop on the Dutch side of this island. We spent a couple of hours sitting waterside enjoying the best coffee we had since leaving Canada 6 weeks prior (the local coffees in Tobago and Dominica were terrible). And not only was the coffee excellent, they make the best butter croissants that... More

We stop here at least every other day to either buy cookies, a baguette, or quiche. This is a great place to get breakfast or lunch and sit outside along the water. This is a must try!

This bakery is one of the best I have visited for a long time. The fresh baked baguettes, round loaves, sweet pastries, quiches, sandwiches, tarts, cakes...I could go on. This was my first stop of every day for breakfast and lunch and sometimes back again for my afternoon coffee. This is where we discovered the Coconut Snorkeling Tours off the... More

Trying to avoid a heavy meal in a touristy part of Philipsburg/Marigot , we found this place . We had a huge chicken sandwich and a baguette. Both were fantastic . The baguette was as good as I've ever had . Total was $8 US . We ate on the pretty patio outside . Wonderful ! We didn't sample the... More

On my visits to Saint Maartin I wake at first light and every morning and walk to La Sucriere on the deck beside the lagoon with a cafe au lait and a steaming croissant, and buy a loaf of almond bread to make sandwiches to eat on the beach with a bottle of rose. I can't imagine a better way... More
