Headed here as our favourite place, A Piece of Cake, is under new ownership and they no longer have fresh pastries ... arrgggh! No smiles here, not a warm atmosphere. My husband ordered a ham and cheese croissant which we thought would be heated in their oven, instead it was nuked and was a hot rubbery mess that he took... More

This is a great place to satisfy a sweet tooth or stock up on croissants for in resort breakfasts. We were only disappointed that we arrived too late to sit outside to enjoy our treats.

We go here several times during our two week stay in st. Maarten! They have the best baguettes on the island. All their baked goods ar amazing!! And the cappuccino !! What a way to start a day! They have a nice deck on the bay surrounded by Palms where you can eat!

This is definitely one of the place you have to buy French bread from. Excellent bread, pastries is good too but a bit pricey.... it is good place you go to treat yourself. Sitting in the back of the restaurant is nice but it is an open space so not good for a rainy day or a hot mid-day...

Wow...always amazed with the quality of pastries, cakes and breads offered here in a quite and simple place. Great coffee. Everything's made fresh every day. Yum!

We found this bakery early in our trip and was so glad. We stopped very often and purchased spinach quiche, French bread and many pastries. One morning we even had them heat up the quiche and sat out back and had our breakfast. The view is to die for!!! The day before we left we went in and loaded up... More

Absolutely delicious pastries and cakes. We found this place early in the trip and I was dying to go again before we left. Check out the peaceful little patio on the water past the pastry counter.

No yellow cake here. Rich and sexy - mouthwatering, full of flavor - worth every penny. Almond croissants, quiches, cinnamon swirls - need I go on???

I just love to go out for breakfast and try out different places. I'd heard about La Sucriere but I never really got to try it...yet. I knew the bakery always seems busy and now I understand why... Very affordable food, great service - always with a smile - and a deck with a view over the Simpson Bay Lagoon... More

This is pretty much exactly what you'd expect from any pastry shop in Paris. There's maybe less of a selection (it's hard to compare the two fairly) but in terms of quality, it's right on par. They have a back patio that's really nice to sit out on while you eat. Great for breakfast or on the way to the... More
