Great place for deserts and bakery items

I visited at the recommendation of the concierge at our resort. I asked about local bakeries and he mentioned his first choice would be Sarafina in Marigot and second choice would be La Sucriere in Simpson Bay. We tried both! La Sucriere is a good choice if you are in Simpson Bay and have... read more

La Sucriere is always a stop for us. We normally have deserts a little while after eating. It has a wonderful view and nothing better with a fine desert and coffee on the water

We did a late breakfast before a beach day on the French side of the Island. The food was delish and the service was good. Great hot coffee, very fresh food made with the best ingredients, all served with a water view! If you like to cook while on the island this is a great place to pickup fresh bread... More

This place is great if you are looking for a simple breakfast or a dessert place. Their back patio gives a panoramic view of the simpson bay which is breathtaking! If you need a place to stop for coffee and a croissant where you can just watch the world go by this is your place.

Although on the main drag, La Sucriere is a bit tucked away. I have been to the island a number of times and never stopped in; however, I did during this visit and learned of what a hidden gem La Sucriere is. It has an amazing view out back, so you can sit and sip you beverage and enjoy one... More

For those like my wife who enjoy sitting by a lagoon, sipping coffee, and eating small servings of quiche or pastry, this is a wonderful place. It's not my thing.

Stopped here for breakfast on our last day before heading out for the airport. The selection was extensive, the coffee was delicious and piping hot. The service was awesome. The pastries we had were very DELICIOUS! We were sorry that we didn't discover this place sooner! Oh, and the prices were way better than elsewhere for much better quality!

We had breakfast here all week. The selection of pastries was amazing and they tasted just as good. We tried a few different selections each day for the entire week we were there. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Outside seating on the water made it even better. We will definitely be back when we return on vacation.

Overheard someone at the hotel who brought back pastries from here. Since I have gone every morning to enjoy these wonderful pastries and quiche. They have a back deck where you can enjoy a simple inexpensive breakfast on the water. They will heat your quiche for you and are very accommodating.

Got hungry after my boat tour and grabbed a quick bite, clear and has a nice view of the Lagoon on the back terrace.
