It was nothing extra, good food although the conch fritter wasn't to our expectations, ok service and a great ambience.

I've dined in Chesterfields for several times and each time is a positive experience. As a local, it's one of my favorite spots to dine in, be it lunch, dinner or just spend some time with a beer and a refreshing breeze overlooking the docks. So far they've been consistent with their very satisfactory service and generous servings with their... More

We have been on St Maarten for the last four weeks and so have had the opportunity to enjoy some good meals around the Island. However, a local chap recommended us to Chesterfields. Its location is superb and the food very satisfactory - very large portions. The sauces were a bit thick for both mine and my husbands liking, but... More

Cesterfield's was very much like the island in general, it had the right appearance but there was nothing special about it. Still, it was more accomodating then the French half.

Breakfast and service was good and inexpensive. We had a platter for breakfast of local food and it was delicious. The same people were working there from the year before and were friendly and polite. A lot of locals mixed with tourists. Bathrooms available for tourists and those waiting for boats for excursions. Or coming back from them. Also you... More

The owner of the cottage we were renting recommended Chesterfields, and upon that recommendation we ended up eating there three days in a row. The location is awesome, right on the waterfront in downtown, halfway between the cruise ship terminal and downtown. The food was awesome. We tried all kinds of things, from mahi BLT wraps, conch salad, fish sandwich,... More

My family and I enjoyed a nice lunch at Chesterfield's. We sat waterfront and enjoyed some very tasty sandwiches and a blackened grouper, creole style that was particularly good. All of the lunch options were served with a choice of sides, salad and bread. The service was very good and our food came promptly. Even though there were cruise ships... More

Chesterfield's had the best breakfast and lunch on the island. Water front seating and a relaxing atmosphere.
