Was looking for food like we have in the Netherlands. They came close but not close enough. Big portions but they were out of kroepoek which was annoying.

Chippie Cafe is great! We've been going for years to see Mario and he never disappoints! We had a table for 13 people and everyone was raving about how delicious everything was. There is a little bit of a twist on classic dishes. Will come back again as always!

If you want something very special then pre-order 3 days in advance Peking Duck at Chippie Cafe'. We get a group of friends together and order Peking Duck (one duck per 3 people) and enjoy an awesome meal 5 courses. The owner-chef Molly Wong is a lovely woman and her husband Mario is a gracious host. Chippie Cafe' is not... More

Excellent service and great selections! From sushi to Chinese dishes and very tasty. Ate here before and my friends thought it was best Chinese food they've ever had.

I'm a big fan of Indonesian food. We visited at lunchtime and the owner very graciously helped us select an assortment of dishes, but the food was disappointing in flavor, presentation, and price. The décor is unattractive Chinese. There were many Chinese and Japanese dishes on the menu. Maybe they were better.

Stopped by here a couple of times during our trip and always enjoyed the food. A little pricier than other places but well worth it when we were in Philipsburg at dinner time.

The food is very good, but pricey. You could easily pay $50 per person for lunch, which is not what you expect to pay in a restaurant that looks a little dated and with a slightly 'lazy' service. I would absolutely recommond any of the Dutch-Indo dishes; their most famous one being the babi pangang, which is roats pork shouler.... More

When you're on Sint-Maarten, definitely hit the beach and enjoy one of the pearls of the Caribbean. But you also need to go a couple blocks off the beach to visit Chippie Café for lunch. My wife and I ordered a rijstafel, and it was delicious and authentic. Recommend ordering it ahead of time so they have all the ingredients... More

There is a laminated sheet of paper on one of the front windows of this restaurant. The paper lists the lunch specials which are apparently available to all customers. While I was looking at the menu, I noticed that the lunch specials were not listed. I asked the waitress if the lunch specials are on separate sheet of paper. She... More
