We had dinner there tonight. We read the reviews on Trip Advisor & they were absolutely correct. The food was wonderful, and reasonably priced. We appreciated that the menu was in English & dollars. A lovely evening.

We were first-timers to SXM and we stayed at the Radisson in Anse Marcel. We picked Le Taitu for dinner because of the good reviews on TA and we weren't interested in the heavy French cuisine being served all over Grand Case. We couldn’t have been happier with what we found at this quaint Cajun/Creole restaurant tucked into the Cul-de-Sac....

This restraurant provides great atmosphere, food and service. This is the true French side of St. Martin experience. The specials are French and Creole selections, priced right. The owner is a true gentleman who will provide you with great tips about the Island. Always a pleasure to eat here.
We go to St Martin every April and Le Taitu is one of our favorites. Jean makes you feel warm and welcomed. The cuisine is delicious....Veal Normandy is yummy!
One of the issues when eating on the French side of St Martin is knowing exactly what it's going to cost when things are priced in Euros. Some restaurants offer 1$=1€ BUT many hike up the price so when you pay $$$ they get what they want in €€€. Le Taitu is a small straight forward restaurant on the way...

The best thing about this little hidden gem is the terrific value. It serves consistently good food at par with more famous restaurants in Grand case but at a substantially lower price.
The decor is beautiful and romantic. The service is prompt and courteous, although the lone server in the place refused to single out anything to recommend for us,...

Seeing the views of this restaurant got our attention. I have absolutely nothing bad to say except we all agreed there was no “wow” when it came to the food. The decor is really cool with natural stone, burlap ceiling, and broken tile floors. The service was prompt and courteous-we didn’t want for anything. We didn’t spend a lot-I think...

We had:
starters:
christophine farcie, spicy stuffed local squash (amazing !)
soup of the day (based on cream and gourd) astonishingly good !!
main dishes:
creole grilled boneless chicken (for both of us) and I found this meal,...

After multiple visits to St Martin and Orient beach, this was the first time we visited this restaurant.
It's a very interesting building with multiple levels of dining...but very small (make a reservation). The food was excellent, the wine was excellent, and the prices were quite reasonable (for St Martin).
They offer a daily Prix Fixe menu with several meat,...

Like some of the other reviewers, we have been eating here on a regular basis since our first meal here, in 1994.The tuna steak, with a cream soy sauce and peppercorns, is the stuff that dreams are made of. And it is a $24 main course. The nearby Ti Bouchon restaurant also has a nice tuna steak - but they...
