You Need Bread in Soufriere - this is your place

Great shop to get fresh bread and local bakes in your in Soufriere. You can also buy pastries and other assorted fruits if your timing is right, mostly in the morning.

Kasava ( locally grown and ground flour) baked goodies. Wonderfully densed baked bread in banana leaves. Sweet and savory selections. Chocolate, dried fruit and nut filled, or sea salt. Quaint little shop with majestic views. Friendly service and they bake there on site in an old stone oven.

Very excellent variety of local pastries. Since it's located right downtown parking can be a challenge but the treats are worth it.

Located in one of the old buildings in Soufriere, it’s a small charming little local business that gives Soufrierians their daily baked goods and has been in operation for donkeys years! Love their freshly baked tuna pies, breads and cakes. No other place has breads as fresh! Excellent value and you can get your small creole breads filled as well... More

The bakery is small and there isn't a huge selection like we have in the states. Also don't expect our sugary delights. This is the real deal local fare... Its very good though and worth a visit. The bread pudding is great and I really love the muffins they make.

We didn't actually eat here but found the store's advertising signs to be very interesting. "Purity Bakery. Licensed to sell intoxicating liquor." Nice combo and what ther kind of liquor is there?

Best island bread and pastries in town. All fresh and the smells provide it. Stop by and say hi to the owners

I went to the Purity bakery on my first day of arrival to Soufriere. My guesthouse owner stopped here to get some warm local bread and cheese and I was hooked from then on. I visited the bakery everyday, trying different breads and pastries. My favorite was the banana bread. Everyday, there was something different to try. This is a... More

Liked only one item here: the coconut cakes and they are often sold out so hardly worth even a visit.
