This Restaurant will be closed for several months for renovations. Check back in November to see if they are back open.

I used to eat here every time the cruise ship I was working on docked in St Lucia. Recommended it to the passengers too. Always stunning food, seafood literally off the back of the boat that caught it and by far the best I've had anywhere. Friendly staff and great service.

While visiting St Lucia last week for my cousins wedding, we spent a wonderful evening at Jacques, which we know as Froggy Jacques. We were a table of 10, from London, New York, and Switzerland, with a couple of dietary requirements thrown in for good measure. We arrived at 7.30 and spent about an hour enjoying pre dinner drinks, catching... More

Nothing to dislike here albeit the prices are a bit steep, but so is everything else on this island....Food was very good, service excellent.

We had researched extensively places to eat during our honeymoon in St Lucia. Jacques has high ratings and seems to come up again and again so when we found ourselves in Gros Islet I convinced my husband to dine at Jacques. It was a Wednesday night in June, we walked to the restaurant. The menu posted on the sign outside... More

Dear Samsonites, Sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your recent visit to Jacques. We certainly try our very best to make sure that our clients enjoy their experience with us. We do at present have a few stray cats in the area and we are trying our best to deal with the situation, we actually have 2 mother... More

We visited this restaurant on the recommendation of a local man, and it was our favorite of all the places we ate in St Lucia. The food was delicious, interesting and beautifully presented and the desserts were to die for. Gorgeous setting right on the water too! Highly recommended.

Jacques was the only restaurant in the Gros Islet area that we visited twice on our vacation in June 2014. The service was excellent and we loved the ambience. You must have the fish soup and the Coconut Creme Brulee! Both were outstanding!! We met Jacques and his wife who were extremely kind and gracious! You won't be disappointed.

We arrived on a really quiet night but it didn't matter as the ambience was still good. Food excellent - reminded me of restaurants in a number of French towns, where food quality and flavour is not an option. Don't be put off by the car park entrance - a gem really does await.

We were there in the low season and it was very quiet, we were the only customers so ambience a little lacking. Made up with very well cooked food served by excellent waiting staff. Between us we had the catch of the day, rack of lamb and a steak. All 3 were excellent as were the starters (the fish soup... More

Dear Big Steve, Thank you for your review. This year's low season has been particularly 'low' this year throughout the island, I'm glad to hear that the restaurant being quiet didn't dampen your experience. With the brunch being made up of 'food stations' we discontinue it in the low season as we really need a guaranteed number of people to... More
