peking duck

probably one of the best menu items..the peking duck was crispy, flavorful, moist and served with hoisin and fresh scallions, bokchoy, and plum sauce.

While walking on the beach, we smelled some awesome scents that were not of the normal island spices, and followed our noses to Memories of Hong Kong. By this time, we felt we could use a break from the yummy St. Lucian food and have Chinese!! The scents were from any and all of their sizzling dishes. The vegetable dishes... More

We were staying at The Royal across the street and had a craving for Chinese. I expected the kind of customised food (noodles with lots of MSG and ginger) that normally masquerades as Chinese cuisine in many Caribbean eateries. I could not have been more wrong. They had real prawn toast! The flavour and texture of the meats in my... More

Each time we return to St Lucia and Rodney Bay, we go to Memories of Hong Kong the first night. We usually have the same menu – one of the set meals for two. We appreciate the location, the open aspect of the restaurant, and being able to see the world go by on the main thoroughfare of Rodney Bay.... More

Good Chinese ,bit to many msgs in the food but ok .The staff are badly or non trained and can be surly .The biggest problem is the price is now absurd Def not any where near value for money and the under table bugs nip away during dinner Sadly it's a miss now .

As others have mentioned this is a well located but quite expensive place for the quality of food served. Service is pleasant but you don't feel you're getting good value. The food's not bad, it's just dear for what you get.

I think we were only two of four people in here on this night, no wonder, the service was average, the food was average and the prices, heaven knows where they get those from. As a regular visitor to china town in London we could have had a small banquet for the price we paid here. A shame I think..

We ordered a take away during our stay in the Cap Estate this month. We ate in a number of places while we were there and thought a Chinese would be a welcome change. To be honest it was probably the best food we had there...and we had some great meals...and one of the best Chinese take-aways we have had... More

We love Chinese food, so we tried Memories of Hong Kong during our stay in Rodney Bay. The restaurant was quite empty, early in the evening, but it got livelier with other (groups of) travellers a little bit later. We enjoyed our appetizers (my spareribs with peking sauce were delicious and really a big portion), but we were a little... More

We went here for dinner three times after reading previous reviews and discovering that it is v good value for money. It really is worth a visit. Very reasonably priced, everything we ordered was fresh, tasty and cooked well. The restaurant itself is nicely lit and the atmosphere is pleasant even early in the evening when it's quiet.
